History of World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft stands as the greatest game in the popular Warcraft series

World of Warcraft has been an extraordinary success since its launch in November 2004. It has impressed game critics and has captivated millions of players, who adore the world that the game has created. It is no longer just a game but is now a genuine phenomenon, and one that shows no signs of abating. It is one of the key games of recent times, and stands as a landmark title for online gaming.

World of Warcraft’s appeal lies in that it has created a truly engaging online world. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game is set in the world of Azeroth, a fantastic land that is filled with heroes and monsters and many other creatures. The game’s strength is that it functions as an experience, as a world that exists on its own terms that you may visit and explore as you please.

World of Warcraft is the 4th title in the series of Warcraft games, which have been entertaining people for over a decade. The series began in 1994 with the game Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, a real time strategy game set in Azeroth. This was a fine title, and a good introduction to the series, but in truth the franchise was just getting started. The best was still to come.

Indeed, it wasn’t until 1995 and the release of the second game, Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, that the series really found its voice. Warcraft 2 was a masterpiece, and it improved on the original in every sense. The game had beautiful graphics, epic storytelling and fascinating, absorbing gameplay. The high standards of the series continued in 2002, with the release of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. This was another classic and a remarkable game in its own right. The predecessors of World of Warcraft were all superb.

Blizzard Entertainment published all of the Warcraft titles, and the games attracted a huge following. When Blizzard announced that there was going to be a 4th game in the series, it was natural that people were interested. This interest intensified when it emerged that the new Warcraft title was going to be an online multiplayer game. World of Warcraft would make Azeroth more interactive and redefine it as an experience.

The fans of the series had high expectations for World of Warcraft, as it promised to be a terrific and innovative new title. Blizzard held a beta test for the game in March 2004, and gave selected players a preview. Those who played it were very impressed and it received great reviews. The anticipation for the game’s release grew stronger as 2004 went on.

World of Warcraft was officially launched in North America on Tuesday the 23rd of November 2004. It was well received by critics. The launch was a major success, and it achieved huge sales on its first day of release. Blizzard estimated that 240,000 copies were sold in the first day alone. These were record numbers for a game of this genre and so World of Warcraft became the fastest-selling online game in history. It was a smash hit.

World of Warcraft sustained this success; in fact, the popularity of the game began to snowball. It really took off and caught the public imagination, with more and more people becoming enthralled with it. 2005 saw the game explode into a global obsession. In February it was launched in Europe and in June it was launched in China, with other countries following suit. It proved hugely popular everywhere it was released, and by 2005’s close it had more than five million subscribers worldwide.

World of Warcraft has evolved since its initial release. There have been a number of updates for the game, and the universe of Azeroth has grown. Blizzard have made improvements, fixed any problems, and have worked to make the game user-friendly. They have also expanded the game, by adding sections like Blackwing Lair, for example, the dungeon lair of Nefarion, one of the villains in the game.

In June 2005, Blizzard added major player versus player content in the form of two special battlegrounds, Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch. Alterac Valley allows players to engage in battles of 40 on 40 people, while Warsong Gulch offers new challenges, like stealing your opponent’s flag from their camp. These battlegrounds are the most substantial update to World of Warcraft since it was released.

Now, in 2006, World of Warcraft is as popular as ever. An expansion, titled The Burning Crusade, is set for release this year, and should expand the world of Azeroth even further. World of Warcraft has become the pinnacle of the Warcraft series, and is a magnificent and distinctive game.

History of Final Fantasy XI

The Final Fantasy series is a superb set of games that have become an important part of video game history. Final Fantasy XI is an especially strong title. It is a terrific modern update on the series, advancing it and taking it into exciting new territory.

Final Fantasy XI is an outstanding entry in a series that is nearly twenty years old. The Final Fantasy series was created by the Japanese company Square Co. in 1987. At the time Square were in a difficult position, as they had focused on making games for the Nintendo Famicom Disk System and this format had become unpopular. The company were eager for success and saw great potential in the role-playing genre. Final Fantasy was their attempt to make a new kind of role-playing title.

Final Fantasy came out in Japan at the end of 1987. It was excellent, offering a fresh and original role-playing experience. Final Fantasy’s strength was that it had a strong narrative that ran throughout the game. This made it very compelling and helped it to capture people’s interest. It was an enormous success and launched what would become a hugely popular franchise. It would lead to Final Fantasy XI and beyond.

When Square made Final Fantasy, they looked at the role-playing genre and explored the possibilities of what it could do. Final Fantasy was innovative, and this sense of invention would become a major element of the series, continuing all the way through to Final Fantasy XI. The first sequel, Final Fantasy II, was equally creative, surprising people by coming up with a completely new plot and characters.

The Final Fantasy series flourished and a number of dazzling games followed. Final Fantasy IV was a gripping, brilliant game and became the second title in the series to be released in North America. Final Fantasy VI had an enthralling story that gave it serious emotion and depth. Final Fantasy X used voice acting and beautiful three-dimensional visuals to create its own game world. These were all strong titles and laid the way beautifully for Final Fantasy XI.

Final Fantasy XI has continued the sense of innovation that is expected of this series. A highly ambitious game, it saw the franchise move into the world of online gaming. Final Fantasy XI is a massively multi-player online role-playing game. It is also unique as it is playable on both consoles and PCs, all of which connect to the same game servers. This has made it the first cross-platform title of its kind.

There was great curiosity about Final Fantasy XI before its release in 2002. Images and previews of the game captured people’s attention. A special bonus disk was included with the release of Final Fantasy X, containing a trailer for the game. Its creator Square Enix also held beta tests for the game to gather players’ feedback and improve it. This allowed them to handle any concerns that people had and fine-tune it.

Final Fantasy XI was launched in Japan on May 16 2002 for the Sony PlayStation 2. The PC release came on November 5th. It had its PC release in North America on October 28 2003, with the European release following in September 2004. The initial Japanese launch was a complicated affair, as the game required a hard drive for the PlayStation 2 console and stocks of these were limited at first. Square Enix responded well to any issues that developed, and also released a game patch to enhance it.

Square Enix adopted an interesting approach to the game, developing it and reworking it even after it had been released. The company has revised it since its launch and made it even better, adding in new areas and new content. This has enriched the Final Fantasy XI experience. There have been two expansions, Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia, to complement the game. A third expansion, Treasures of Aht Urhgan, is planned for spring 2006.

Final Fantasy XI has established itself as a major presence in online gaming. It sold well, building up more than 500,000 subscribers by January 7 2004. There were almost a million game characters active within this time period. It was well received, enjoying many positive reviews from the game press. It was crucial in building up Square Enix’s PlayOnline service and more than fulfilled their hopes for the title.

Final Fantasy XI is a truly great game. It has combined the creativity and innovation that is the hallmark of Final Fantasy with a state of the art online gaming format. It is an amazing experience and has taken the series in a new direction. It will continue entertaining people for a long time to come.

When I first viewed this website for gamers and sports lovers, I got the impression of a green colored website. The interface is plain and simple but the featured gaming and sports sites it markets are mostly in green. It does not deviate from the overall goal of the website which is to show possible games and sports watch a person may want to see and know more about. It doesn’t feel too crowded because the logos are mostly in the main portion of the field with more or less similar sizes so that it looks organized and easy to read. High Performance Computer - What You Must Consider To Play Modern Games

Even though the video game consoles of today have taken over all the old systems the PC games of today are still some of the number one rated games on any system. The way the computer works is different then what kind of graphics that you will have in your Xbox or Playstation. You will have a motherboard with either single or double graphics card ability. If you have an SLI ready motherboard then that means that you have the best motherboard that money can buy and you also have the best graphics as well. You will be using two graphics cards over the power of one which will make your computer not only not lag but will make the image clearer then purified water.

The big thing about computers and playing video games on them is you can keep upgraded your computer without having to buy a whole new system. You can however upgrade your other video game systems but then it becomes illegal to play your upgraded systems online like you like to play. That is because they sell the systems how they want them to be played if they had wanted everyone to be aim botting then they would have given you that privilege but you cannot and therefore you just need to spend your upgrading money on your computer unless you are "modding" out your Xbox and you plan on just playing on other servers and not the main Xbox live feed.

PC gamers are always looking for the next best piece of technology to help them get an edge in their online games. Heck, they'll take a minor boost in a games frame rate if it means shoveling out a few hundred bucks for a new video card or processor; but, with so many hardware configurations and different applications, what exactly is a high performance gaming computer?

There is no single computer that is going to outperform every other computer on the market. Sure, one computer might be optimized for high a high frame rate, but that might come at the cost of being ale to multi task, while another computer may place emphasis on multitasking and being able to play a game at a lower frame rate while still being able to use a web browser.

A truly high performance gaming computer is one that has been optimized to perform as specific task, whether it's playing one game (like Counterstrike), or playing a game and using several applications (like World of Warcraft and a browser). These machines have been optimized to the point that doing something else - such as multitasking - is discouraged.

If you want to really play games on your computer flawlessly then you are going to have to spend some money to make the computer that you want. You are going to need at least 2 gigs of RAM. A good graphics card as well. You just need to go to online and you will be able to get a good gaming computer for under $1200. I mean everything that you want and top of the line for that price.

Hentai Games Review – Crescendo

Hentai games are a Japanese invention. They contain content suitable for adults and often go into explicit scenes with very young subjects. With the coming of regulations and standards, it is relatively easy to find out what the product contains by checking out its ratings. The game under review falls under the dating Sim category and would be of interest to the younger generation.

The story line goes as follows. The location is a college where the final year is about to get over. The protagonist is in a pensive mood, and is trying to recall the year’s events.

The story is therefore told as a flash back, and the characters come alive with visual representations. These include a friend who took the main character to an arts club, his female friend who fell in love with the protagonist, a shy girl, his own stepsister who took care of him, and a pretty school nurse.

Each day comes alive in the thoughts of the main character. Every day brought its own unique events and elements. There were days that he wished would last forever. With all that gone, and the graduation drawing near, the subject is in a pensive mood and must make important choices that would determine his future life.

The game contains good art elements and classical music back score. The story often gets into emotional highs, but tends to lack the grip on the player making them come repeat the scenes. The hentai scenes are sparse comparatively.

This Dating Sim is available in English and is said to have good dialogues, facial artwork, graphics, and sound effects.

Although hentai and renai games may have a reputation of involving minor-looking characters into sexual activities, not all hentai games have such elements. Look out for games that have been made more from an literary and artistic point of view, and the chances are you may appreciate the subtle storyline and the artistic rendering of the storyline.

Hentai Game Review – Gibo Game

Hentai games appeal to the rather sidetracked tastes of the adult population. They involve very young girls and boys portrayed as cartoon figures, with touches of innocence added, and portray sexually charged stories. The user/player gets to interact with the story with options to modify appearances, storylines, and endings.

The Gibo game under review is one such hentai game. It is about a young boy called Yusuke Yagami who happens to be a witness to his mother’s adultery with a man. The mother is then divorced by the father. This creates a complex in the mind of the young boy, who is said to be confused about what a ‘mother’ really means.

His father soon remarries, and a new stepmother called Gibo steps in. She is young and beautiful. This time the boy has grown up, and feels an attraction for his step mother. It is not difficult to imagine the storyline from this point onwards. The old mistrust of the concept of ‘mother’ combines with physical attraction for the step mother to create a storyline.

This is a bishojo game with drama and taboo themes. The story concludes with a bizarre ending, though the choices are left to the player.

The hentai scenes are said to be very detailed, and the game uses good technology. There are three girls in the story, and there are a number of different sexual practices shown.

Helicopter Flash Game

When I typed in “helicopter flash game” to my favorite search engine, I thought I was into something high-tech. I thought I would have the chance to fly my favorite Blackhawk helicopter along with other helicopters I want to fly for free. But then, my hopes fade away when I saw what is up for me… A helicopter flash game that seems to be as old as the first video game created.

What I saw was neither an RPG nor a simulator. I did not see any Blackhawk, Heuy, Comanche or Apache. I did not see anything that would spark a single interest that would make me feel like playing it. But what the fuss? I am on the site so made my very first click.

And so the game began. At first I did not know how to make the helicopter fly. And since this was the case, the tiny helicopter on my screen that’s surrounded by neon green wall kept on falling down. I never read the instructions or the ‘how to play’ portion of the window since I was not planning to spend another minute with it. But then again, what the fuss?

And so, for the second time within the period of 1 minute, I read the ‘how to play’ portion. I realized it wasn’t so hard. All I have to do is to hold the button of my mouse to make the helicopter raise and release it if I want to lower the helicopter.

What happened next was unexpected. After getting the hang of it and beating my personal best game after game, I was playing the helicopter flash game for several minutes that I never noticed it at all.

Okay, I admit, the game is very addictive. For several reason:

The helicopter flash game is easy to play even your kid will learn it in no time. There is only to way to go: either up or down. You don’t need to go forward or backward for the helicopter will automatically fly forward. All you have to do is to make it go up or down.

The helicopter flash game is so simple. It may not have very good graphics but hey! At the office, you cannot really play modern games.

And, the helicopter game has no ending. You can play it over and over again, period.

Sometimes, I just want to see the helicopter plummet the ground or hit the wall, just to see and hear the explosion. Try it if you like. You might not get the same experience as I do but the thing is, you have tried it.

Have Some Dunk Tank Fun

A dunk tank is a box, one that is usually a see through, clear plastic type of box that is going to have someone sitting in the box. As someone is sitting in the box, another person who pays to get a few small balls, is going to aim at the target, and then as they hit the target, they are going to sink who ever is sitting in the dunk tank. The dunk tank can be a lot of fun, at parties, at schools, at conventions, carnivals and at fundraising events.

You can purchase a dunk tank and invest in your future of your program. The dunk tank is not going to cost a lot of money, and the best thing about purchasing a dunk tank, is that you can use it over and over again for fund raising events, for parties and for those events where you want all types of people to have fun together.

The dunk tank is going to need some type of storage for over the months when you are not going to use it. If you are going to use a dunk tank just once a year, you can put it in an area that is out of the way. Put it where it is going to be safe from the winter weather and that it is going to be out of the way from all the other activities that may go on in that area as well.

Have you ever used a dunk tank?
If you have never used a dunk tank, you are in for a grand surprise. What you will find is that someone is going to sit in the tank, above the water, above the oil or above that huge pile of worms, and when they fall, they are going down into that. What is going to happen is someone is going to pay a dollar or two and get a few balls. With these balls, they are going to aim at the target that is rigged to hold the person above the dunk tank. As the person hits that target with the ball the person then falls. Some dunk tanks are rigged to be difficult to hit, while others are easy to hit. You can determine how far someone is going to stand from the target and how close a child might stand to the target for a good aim.

Charging ‘for that’ chance to dunk someone is going to be based on the event that you are having. Different events include charities, for local fire companies, for someone who is sick, for someone who is trying to rebuild a home, or rebuild a school. All types of fund raising events can use a dunk tank when it is going to take place outdoors. Being outdoors it is not going to matter how much of a mess is being made with the water, mud or what ever you might be using in the dunk tank.

Guitar Hero - The Origins Of Video Game Rock

Guitar Hero was originally released on the PS2 on one glorious day in November of 2005. This much anticipated video game was special in that instead of the usual control pad used to play, the game was designed for use with a life-like guitar shaped device.

This unique controller was modelled after a real guitar called a Gibson SG. Using the guitar controller was very similar to using a real guitar, albeit with a few minor adjustments for simplicity’s sake. Instead of containing several frets and six strings, the guitar hero controller had 5 fret buttons of differing colors, and a strum bar for strumming.

Originally developed by a video game company named Harmonix, it went on to receive numerous awards for its ingenuity and for the core of the game, its musical soundtrack. With 47 rock tracks by various big name artists, from the modern day to the 60s.

Due to the success of the first game, a second was released for the Playstation 2 in 2006, this time with an astonishing 64 musical tracks. Additional features included were the ability to multi-play against friends and non-friends alike. It went on to become the fifth highest grossing game of 2006 for the PS2. And due to unprecedented demand, a Guitar Hero II version was released for the Xbox 360. This version came with a special guitar and more songs.

The third in the series, aptly named Guitar Hero 3, will be released in October of 2007. The company behind it this time is Activision, who have taken over development of the game from Harmonix. But fear not, as Activision is a major power-house in the gaming industry, having churned out such classics as the Tony Hawk Series and the Call of Duty series.

The much anticipated Guitar Hero 3, has been confirmed to contain at least 46 songs, with new characters and an all new Battle Mode. Characters from the previous games to be featured in the new Guitar Hero 3 are Casey Lynch, Axel Steel, Judy Nails, Izzy Sparks, Johnny Napalm, Xavier Stone and Lars Umlaut. A brand new playable character will be Midori. Unfortunately Clive and Pandora were removed from the game. For the boss battles, there will be three. One of them being Slash, who is also rumoured to be a playable character.

Guitar Hero III, also known as Legends of Rock, will be available on the PS2, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Activision are also actively looking to bring the game to the Nintendo DS.

Got Game?

“Get in the game,” is taking on a whole new meaning. Advertisers are expanding their reach with in-game advertising, and we're helping to develop new and creative ways to zero in on the specific markets that advertisers seek through the use of games.

Advergames have been around since the mid 1990s but not until a few years ago did the platform demand the attention from advertisers that it does now.

It's clear that the game industry is booming across all demographics, and advertisers are becoming ever more attracted to their allure. Unlike traditional off-line media, promotional games produce trackable results such as the number of visitors, duration of visits, sales and more. The online trend for finding alternative ways to market to consumers is gaining momentum.

From a consumer standpoint, in-game advertising is less obtrusive than other online media formats such as pop-ups and pop-unders that often annoy Internet surfers. When users go online they are typically looking for relevant and engaging content. Games serve both of these needs.

Games aren't just for kids; audiences of all ages become absorbed in the material and concepts that are being delivered through the use of games. According to Comscore Media, men ages 18-24 and women ages 45-54 are the fastest-growing segment of online players. As an advertiser, how do you plan on capturing your audience?

Game development is highly specialized. To profitably integrate a game into your company's marketing mix, you need an expert with years of experience in game development with the know-how to promote your brand. You need a creative studio that is fully staffed with the technical talent, interactive mastery, experienced creative designers, animators and marketers for the one-of-a-kind game you want.

Silver Oaks develops specialized games for companies as a way to reach a wider consumer audience. Our game developers create a variety of games from brain teasers and product-specific games to interactive branding and casual games. You name it, we can create it!

Golf Solitaire Strategy Guide

Golf Solitaire (Sometimes also referred to as Forty Thieves) is a fun solitaire game, requiring great anticipation, and a good degree of luck. Whilst it is not possible to win every game, there are certain strategies you can use to greatly increase your chances of winning Golf Solitaire, and this article will go into some of them.

The more important thing to realize with Golf Solitaire is that Kings and Aces are special. Every other card in the deck can be removed onto cards ranked directly above or below the card. For example, a 5 can be removed onto a 4 or a 6.

But Aces and Kings are different.

An Ace can only be removed onto a Two, and a King can only be removed onto a Queen.

This means you have to be particularly careful when you use Queen's and Two's.

Because of this, the very first thing you should do when you start a game of Golf Solitaire is to count all the Kings and Aces.

If all the Kings are in the tableau, then every time you remove a Queen, you MUST make sure you also remove a King, or you wont be able to finish the game. And if a Queen is dealt from the Talon, then you MUST remove a King straight away. If you can't, you may as well undo, or start a new game.

Similarly, if all four Aces are in the tableau, then every time you remove a Two, you MUST make sure you also remove a Ace, and if a Two is dealt from the Talon, then you must immediately remove a Ace.

If all the Aces and Kings aren't out, then you need to keep track of how many Two's and Queen's have been dealt from the Talon. In this case you don't need to use every Two or Queen on a Ace or King, but if you keep track and work out that there are not enough Two's or Queens left to remove all the remaining Aces or Kings, then it is time to undo...

Just being aware of this one facet of Golf Solitaire will immediately increase your chances of winning. It takes about 5 seconds to count the Aces and Kings at the start of the game, but it will help to dramatically improve your winning percentage!

There are other ways to further increase your chances of winning Golf Solitaire...

If you have a choice between removing two cards of the same rank, one being the last card in it's stack, and the other having cards above it, then make sure you choose the card in the stack with cards above it. Removing the last card in the column will not help you to remove any other cards, but removing the card with cards above it will expose new cards, which will help to form new sequences, and will give you more options later in the game.

You should also look at which cards will be exposed when given a choice between removing cards of equal value. There are two things to look for:

- Is the exposed card an Ace or a King? If so, it might be worthwhile exposing so it can be removed if a Two or a Queen is dealt.

- Does the exposed card help with any other potential sequences at the moment? If so, then it may be worth exposing because it might help make a longer sequence later. eg: If there are a lot of Fours and Sixes exposed at the moment, then exposing a Five might be worthwhile.

Finally, it's often worth planning out sequences, and playing around with alternatives, to see how long a sequence you can make. You will often find that the first sequence you can see in Golf Solitaire is not the best one, and a different sequence might help you to remove a lot more cards. You may find it helps to point your finger at the screen while planning out your sequence. It seems to help the thinking process, and helps you to remember the sequence!

If you follow these strategies, will you win every game of Golf Solitaire?

No, you won't. There is too much luck involved, and most games will not be finishable.

You will greatly increase your chances of winning Golf Solitaire though, and spend less time trying to finish games which can't possibly be won.

There are hundreds of online gaming websites that allow you to compete against other online players, with the winner receiving a cash prize. It costs a small amount of money every time you play a game, and usually if you win you will receive the other opponents’ entry money as well as your own as a prize fund. Therefore it pays to be good at playing online games!

The best way to go about making money online playing online games is to find a games site that is free to join, and then try and choose a game that you would like to play. Make sure you are able to play for free in practise mode; otherwise you will just end up throwing your money away. Read the game instructions and rules in case you miss out on any bonuses or secrets available, and then spend a few hours practising this game.

When you feel that you can play the game to a high standard, start to challenge other online opponents. If you can, have a look at their top scores for the game you are about to play - just to see how your score compares against theirs. Usually it will cost around 35pence to play a game, with the winner receiving around 65pence (as the online game site will have to take their own cut of the money). If you are doing well and winning lots, try and go up a prize level; some games might cost pound1.50 to enter but will have a prize of pound3 or so. There are some great tournaments on the website too, with entry for pound1 and a prize fund of pound70. If you aren't managing to beat any opponents then I suggest you stop playing for cash, and go back to practise mode.

So far from reading this article on making money online playing computer games you might feel a little short-changed. Obviously anyone can make money online if they are talented enough - they could make thousands of pounds from online betting sites if they are able to successfully predict sporting events, or they could easily make a living playing online poker if they are good enough. This is the same with online gaming; however there is another factor to take in to consideration when deciding whether this is a viable way to make money online: the use of cashback websites.

Cashback websites pay you to make an online transaction directly from their website. A cashback website will consist of thousands of website links, and they are able to track any purchases that you make at any of these websites, and will give you a percentage of cash back as an incentive for you to use their shopping links. You don't only get cash back on shopping made online though. You can earn cashback every time you join an online bookmaker, online poker site or significantly, even an online gaming website. No longer are you making any kind of gamble by playing online games from your own cash; the cashback website will guarantee you around pound10 for joining an online games site.

Now you can join an online gaming site using a cashback website, make a cash deposit at the game site and then play pound10 worth of online games, safe in the knowledge that you will not have lost a penny thanks to the cashback website tracking your activities. You could play pound10 worth of online games and lose every single one, but you will still have made pound10 at the cashback website.

So if you are able to practise for free at the online games site until you can play to a reasonable standard, not only will you not make a loss by joining from a cashback website, but you will hopefully start to win other people's money on the gaming website. This is how you can start to make money online and get paid to play online computer games, using cashback websites.

Get Internet On PSP

You may not know that a PSP can pick up free wireless internet! So many users are blissfully unaware of what their machine is capable of, but it can be quite easy to set up if you know what to do! This guide will tell you exactly how to get internet on your PSP!

Requirements:
You will need to obtain two essential needs before you can start surfing the web with your PSP. You must be able to get some form of wireless internet source. It could originate anywhere, either from within your own home or in your local Starbucks, you just need to be in an area where the internet is available. Psp wireless settings adhere to the 802.11b wireless networking protocols, probably the most common anywhere, so virtually any wireless network connection will work for this. You will also need to get hold of a copy of Wipeout:Pure, which you need to get internet on your PSP.

Ready to start? Now we will start to learn how to get internet on PSP!

Step 1- Switch on the PSP and go to the System Menu, and then enter “Network Settings”. Go from there to “Infrastructure mode”, and select a connection to edit. Select your home connection if you already have one set up. Don't alter the name of the profile, keep it as it is, and leave the WLAN settings alone if they are already set up.

Step2- Go into “Address Settings” click on “Custom” and make sure you leave “IP Address Setting” as Automatic. If you adjust this, you could have a lot of trouble getting internet on your PSP!

Step 3- Go into “DNS Setting” and click on manual. Here we need to enter the address of our web gateway. For this, the most popular one to use is the gateway at Endgadget, so enter the numbers “208.42.28.174” as the Primary DNS IP, and put zeros for the Secondary DNS IP. (0.0.0.0). If this gateway doesn't work for you, you can find alternatives by doing a quick search engine search.

Step 4- In the “Proxy Server” options, select “Do Not Use” Once you have done this, you just need to confirm everything, and when you are prompted to, save it all by pushing X.

Step 5- Launch Wipeout:Pure in the usual way, and go into the Downloads menu. As soon as you are asked to pick a connection, select the one that you have edited in the earlier steps, and you should find the Endgadget web screen right in front of you. That is how it is done! How to get internet on PSP!

As long as you have access to the resource mentioned earlier, it isn't difficult to get the internet on your PSP. When you have managed to get access to it, you will realise what a useful feature it is!

Get Hold Of A Hot Games Trend - Sudoku

Sudoku is one of the hottest trends in games and entertainment. The interest in this Japanese number crossword puzzle is absolutely at a fever pitch. The rules are simple - fill in the squares so that all numbers are represented only once per row. Simple rules, difficult to follow. What makes Sudoku almost addicting is the consistent challenge of finding the right match. The trial and error matched with a pre-planned strategy based on the clues you're provided make success possible for everyone. And of course it helps that there are different game levels available. So you can start with, or always go back to, the easiest level in order to gain an understanding of how the game works and what strategies work best for you. And unlike crossword puzzles, which are popular in their own right, Sudoku does not require an infinite knowledge of words or a long-term commitment to figure a puzzle out. And the frustration level stays low because one can always go back to the most basic level and focus on speed rather than mere completion. In a 5-30 minute time period, one can play a game or a few, be challenged intellectually, get the satisfaction out of completing a puzzle, and walk away refreshed to go use their brain in another matter. And with the online resources and local clubs and competitions, the Sudoku experience is only becoming more popular. School children use it in their classroom to practice addition, number patterns, and logical thinking - while many in assisted living programs have incorporated Sudoku into their regular bingo rotation.

The best thing about Sudoku is it provides an equal playing ground for everyone. Four year old kids, elderly adults, PhDs in math, and those who don't speak English can all play the same game, with varied difficulty levels, and get the same level of satisfaction from it.

Gender bending in MMORPGs

Most MMORPGs, such as Maple Story, RF Online and many other others allow players to experience a fantasy world filled with Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, and many other exotic races. These games also allow players to choose which gender their avatars will assume. While Playing as non-human races is considered unremarkable, playing as the opposite gender (termed gender bending) has always been a divisive issue. Current surveys show that 85% of MMORPG players are male and that males are up to 5x more likely to gender bend than females. This means, on average, at least half of all female avatars in a virtual world are played by men.

There are some very practical reasons why a man would prefer to play a female character online. For instance, it is widely known that others players are much more generous with items and in game guidance to female characters. Females who play a male character give up this gender specific advantage, which likely explains the far lower female gender bending tendency. It has also been noted that in third party MMORPGS many men prefer to spend their game hours staring at the back of a slim female body rather than a bulky man's. Many do not accept these utilitarian reasons alone as being the explanation for gender bending. Some suspect that there are darker and more psychological reasons why a man would dress in women's garb, virtually speaking that is.

That a man would want to play a female character is often evidence enough for many in the online community to label someone a homosexual. But surprisingly, feminist organizations see gender bending as another sign of female oppression. In most virtual worlds, female characters are scarcely clad and are blessed with what we shall term "bountiful assets." It is sexism on the men's part to want to control these polished pleasure bots, or so the feminist argument goes. There is certainly some small minority of men who use female characters to approach other men online but doesn't ultimate responsibility lie on the individual in defending himself against unsolicited advances online?

The issue has gone so far out of hand in some places that game publishers and governments decided they needed to step in. Recently in China Shanda Entertainment, a major developer of virtual worlds, issued a new rule that anyone wishing to create a female avatar must first prove their gender to the company via a webcam. Interestingly, women wishing to play a male character would not need to go through this procedure. Many players faced character deletion if their female avatars didn't have a female face to defend them on the webcam. Not surprisingly, players wore wigs and put on make up to fool the developers into letting them keep their avatars. Shanda may of found the perfect way to reverse gender bending trends between the sexes - by putting additional barriers in front of male gender benders and encouraging female gender bending. (by forcing women to "prove" their sex) Soon China may have the first virtual world where half the men are women!

Gemsweeper is a new colorful puzzle game

Gemsweeper by Lobstersoft is a colorful puzzle game. I have to admit that at first my attention was drawn by the graphics and background design, which are very impressive. Then a tutorial started which vividly showed all the game rules and I felt comfortable playing within minutes.

But I think that it may have been a bit too long for a tutorial. The rules of the game are not really that difficult to understand.
The game board consists of cursed tiles and gems which are all faced down. A player needs to uncover the pattern made of gems and break the cursed tiles. There is always a numerical hint along the side and top for each row and column showing how many gems are in the line and you must find out where they are using this info.

It actually seemed very easy at first and I didn't think I would spend much time on this game. But the further I went the more difficult and challenging the levels became. At the beginning it was 5x5 tiles of rows and columns, later 5x7, 10x10 and then more and more. I even got Time Penalty for trying to open the cursed tiles several times, and by that time I knew the game was not as easy as it had seemed at first sight. If you get Time Penalty many times you can even lose a level and then you have to start all over again. So do not click on tiles randomly, you can smash a gem with a hammer!

But what is the game goal? It is in helping Topex, a mythical statue, reconstruct the temples of his hometown of El Dorado. And you travel from one lost city to another somewhere deep in jungle earning score points and treasure hunting ranks. One thing which definitely should be mentioned is Professor McGuffog who helps you with the hints and rules and sometimes makes cheesy jokes. Also he can repair a smashed gem with the Magic glue for you (You can see how much magic glue is left - at the bottom of the game screen there are yellow pots).

Gemsweeper offers over 200 unique puzzles to solve which will definitely remind you about your childhood when you made your own puzzles in a puzzle board on a table or floor and not on a computer.

On the whole, I would say I had a lot of fun playing this particular game.

Gaming captures the hearts of gamers, alleviates loneliness, and creates a new market for businesses.

Gaming is popular with teenagers, women, children, as well as men. Older people say they play games as it alleviates loneliness and puts them in contact with others. Statistics reveal that 41% of gamers are women and more than 43 % gamers are aged 25-49. And, research predicts that the games market in 2005 will be US$ 29 billion.

Players can choose between stored games and online games. Stored games are played on consoles while online games are played on a computer using either a broadband or dial up Internet connection. The growth in online gaming according to IDC, a research firm, is set to touch 256 million users by 2008. And, that gaming is serious business is conformed by the hosting of international conferences devoted to gaming and the formation of “Casual Games Special Interest Group.”

Gaming captures the imagination of the players and uses the senses: sight, sound, as well as touch. Many need the use of intelligence as well as strategy. Complex graphics, colors, high quality virtual realities are all set to grab as well as hold the attention of players. Multi-player gaming takes the interest to the next level –offers challenges as well as new horizons to be conquered.

Games played on the Internet are such that clever participants find ways to push the game beyond its visible limits, one can even device cheats to circumvent problems posed by the game. Games test the skills, intelligence, concentration ability as well as techie know how.

Online gaming architecture has six business aspects: the subscriber; the advertiser; the gaming platform provider; the broadband service provider; the network service provider; and the gaming content provider. It is big business—hardware revenues in 2005 are expected to be: US$ 9.4 billion with software and content revenue touching US$16.9 billion.

However, there is a downside, gaming can become addicted and affect normal life—kids stop studying, housewives neglect their daily routine, and people are tempted to play games even at work. It can lead to suicides, mental imbalance as well as destroy marriages and careers. Gamers become recluses and rarely make social contact outside their gaming groups.

Addiction studies indicate that gaming can result in: obsession, neglect, lying, socially unacceptable behaviors, carpal tunnel syndrome, dry eyes, neglect of personal hygiene, as well as sleep disorders.

Popular gaming sites include: MSN games which has 3.4 million monthly registered users ; Pogo which has 8.6 million monthly registered users; and Yahoo games which has 10.1 million registered monthly users.

Analysts predict that by 2007 online gaming will be at least 285 petabits a month, the revenue generated by online subscriptions for gaming is expected to reach US$ 650 million annually.

The future according to Peter Molyneux, is in developing games that “reward a player for “out of the box” thinking and creativity. Games must encourage players to be interactive and decide the direction the game will take.

Crowe and Kidman to Unite in Aussie Film

After a failed attempt at collaborating on “Eucalyptus,” Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman are looking to team with “Moulin Rouge” director Baz Luhrmann. All three are Australian.

Crowe and Kidman have signed on to star in what is being called an epic Australian Outback film set in the years up to and including World War II. The film, codenamed “Project Oklahoma,” will begin in the 1930s and stretch to the 1942 Japanese bombing of the tropical city of Darwin.

“We’ve talked a bout it for over seven years, that we must do something together in Australia.” Luhrmann said to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Kidman said that she was looking forward to making a “uniquely Australian story” with Crowe, who she calls her “good friend.”

Luhrmann compared the film to “Gone with the Wind” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” “Collateral” screenwriter Stuart Beattie will work with Luhrmann on the script for the film.

Kidman has had a working history with Luhrmann, who directed the three minute, multimillion-dollar Chanel No. 5 commercial in which Kidman starred.

The rumored budget for the film is said to be about $40 million in Australian currency, which is equivalent to about $30 million in U.S. dollars. Filming is set to begin in August, and the film is projected to be released in 2007.

Games: Which are the Easiest to Play

Here is a guide to the best online games. Find yourself winning, or at least not necessary losing in the long run. The best casino games are games that have a low house edge or games where by practicing your skill you can have an advantage over the casino. Those with the lowest house edge are blackjack and video poker. By improving the skill with which you play poker and blackjack, you gain an advantage over the other player or over the casino.

House Edge:
First, here is an explanation about the term house edge. The house edge is the way the casinos create an artificial advantage over the player to ensure their profits. The advantage is created by not paying the true odds. The house edge is the gap between the true odds and the odds the casino actually pays out for a winning.

Here is an example for clarification. The true odds in an American roulette game are 37:1. However, if you place a one dollar bet, you would be paid 35 dollars instead of 37 dollars, which are the true odds. The two dollars gap between the true odds and the actual payout is the casino house edge. You can calculate American roulette house edge by dividing 2 dollars by 38. The result is 5.26 percent.

Poker:
This is an exceptional casino game. It is the only casino game where you play against the other players instead of competing against the casino. There is not a house edge in poker. Instead, most casinos ensure their profits by collecting a rake, which is a certain percentage of the pot used to cover expenses. Other casinos charge each player by the hour.

Poker is the best casino game to play if you are a skilled player. A skilled player with experience, excellent knowledge in certain game rules, smart strategy and an ability to read facial expressions would have an advantage over the less skilled poker players, especially those who rely on their good fortune.

Blackjack:
This is the only casino game where the advantage can be shifted from the player to the dealer. When you are playing blackjack and using an optimal strategy, the house edge can be lower than 0.5 percent. You can increase your odds of winning and lower the house edge by learning the strategy based on the mathematics of the game.

Another way to lower the casino advantage in blackjack is by card counting. A skilled card counter can adjust his bets and his strategy according to the proportion between high cards and low cards. Mastering card counting requires skill and practice. In addition, since casinos are not especially welcoming card counters to their blackjack tables, you should also practice your hiding skills.

Video Poker:
The resemblance between video poker and slot machine sometimes causes confusion. Nevertheless, contrasting to slot machine, video poker is a game of skill. Playing video poker using an optimal strategy can lower its house edge to less than half percent. As opposed to slot machines, in video poker machine the pay table on the front of the machine enables you to determine the expected return of the game.

For example:
1) In a 9/6 Jacks or Better video poker machine, the expected return percentage can be as high as 99.5 percent.
2) In a 8/5 Jacks or Better machine the return percentage can be 97.3 percent and 95 percent in a 6/5 Jacks or Better video poker machine.
3) In a full paying Deuces Wild machine, the expected return percentage can be 100.17 percent.

"Hooks To Hits: The Key to Writing Songs That Sell"

Copyright 2006 Alex Forbes

The main ingredient that distinguishes a perfectly respectable "album cut" from a hit song is the presence of a killer hook. But if hooks like that were so easy to create, we'd all be millionaires! How can you enhance the impact of your songs' hooks to appeal to both audiences and the People Behind Desks? Read on!

To make this article more useful, gather up your 3 strongest or most recent titles, hooks or choruses, so that you can apply what we're discussing to the "real world" of your material.

Tap Into Your Personal Experiences For "Nuggets of Truth"

It's my firm belief that the old adage, "write what you know" is applicable to songwriting as well as prose. Although some of us prefer to believe we can write about anyone and anything, our most meaningful and successful songs usually spring from "real life" experiences, and our responses to, and interpretations of, those experiences. Each day we spend on the planet, observed through the prism of songwriting, offers innumerable creative possibilities. The seeds of brilliant songs often lie just beneath the surface, but the writer must be willing to nurture their growth.

Let's say you're starting with a blank slate: germ of an idea brewing, recording device turned on, and instrument, voice or blank page ready and waiting. How do you go about extracting the proverbial Killer Hook from your precious "nuggets of truth":

• First, ask: what is true, real, intensely felt RIGHT NOW in your life? Be attentive to those flickers of realization, your "aha! moments."

• What experiences do you have a burning yearning to share?

• What contribution do you want to make to the world?

• What makes your angle on life unique, compelling, interesting?

• In the movie "Walk The Line," Sam Phillips asks Johnny Cash what song he'd sing if he was dying in a ditch on the side of the road and only had 3 minutes left. What hook would you sing in that situation?

• How can you arrange words and/or musical notes to get your "soul" down in song?

• Get crazy, be bold, bare your deepest truth or your silliest notion.

• Your job as a songwriter is to express what others can't express. Go overboard!

Now take a few minutes and blurt out what comes up for you. Really dig in there and fearlessly sing, write or play something, anything, as long as it rings true. This is a great exercise to try any time you have 10 minutes to spare.

Next, start to put that spark of inspiration into song form. Stay connected with the essence of your personal experience as you begin to experiment with lyrics and music.

Ways to Enhance the Impact of Your Song's Hook(s)

In the Verse/Chorus song form — the most common form these days — the chorus, and especially the hook, is where you "deliver the goods." It's the equivalent to the summation to the jury, the punch line of the joke, the revelation on the mountaintop. Every verse, every pre-chorus, every bridge, every line and every note leads up to this ultimate payoff. A great hook (and chorus) is packed full of meaning, fun, passionate intensity... or all three! It can't be overemphasized that your hook has to really Rock Their World. But first, it has to rock YOURS. It has to ring true to you.

• Boil your Big Idea down into the smallest possible expression of its essence: your hook.

• Stay simple-yet-elegant. Less is usually more.

• Don't pussyfoot around. Be bold and risky. Always take a strong point of view!

• A great line bears repetition. If it's worth saying, it's usually worth saying again.

• Make your song move rhythmically. People want to be SWAYED in more than one way by your song.

• Think of it this way: your hook is the hub of the wheel, and the other song elements are the spokes.

• Marry your melody to your lyric so that each intensifies and deepens the other.

• If you are thrilled by your hook, "they" probably will be too. And if you're holding back, they probably will too!

• Show off your "money" note, your slammin'-est groove, your cleverest line, your most unusual concept in your hook. Aim for the bleachers, emotionally and creatively.

Give Your Hooks Mass Appeal

Singles are distinguished from album cuts by their catchiness, accessibility and freshness. And the hook is the key to that mass appeal. Most listeners and People Behind Desks couldn't sing all of a song's verses back to you if they tried. But most CAN remember a killer hook or chorus. For those of you who are driven by thoughts of financial gain, singles are also where the money is. (But remember: selling doesn't mean selling out!) When you get to your main hook, hit us with fresh language, chords and melodic movement to wake us up physically, emotionally and spiritually. The might mean:

• An impassioned title or lyrical line: a twist of phrase, an unforgettable image, or an emotional outpouring that rings true

• A peak moment for the vocalist. This could be a high note, a long note, a rhythmically cool pulse or movement, a fresh interval, a repeated pattern or melodic sequence, etc.

• A catchy-as-hell instrumental riff or chordal pattern

• An underlying rhythm or groove that sweeps up all in its path

• Enough repetition to be catchy without becoming boring

• A striking contrast to whatever comes before and after (verses, pre-choruses, bridge), so that your hook stands out in an obvious way

Remember, more Hooks-Per-Square-Inch is better! In this day and age of sensory overload, listeners thrive on intense songs that cut through the clutter. We WANT to be moved on all levels. We're hungry for depth, for truth, for emotion, for humor. Strive to discover the universal within the personal, the specifics of real life. Make your song paint a picture or create an environment people can live in.

By following these guidelines, and learning from songs that are hits in your chosen genres, you can make your songs more accessible, satisfying and commercially viable.

Happy songwriting!

Games - Consoles - technology evolved

Games consoles have a colourful history, but they only really rose into the public consciousness in the ‘80s with the NES – the original Nintendo system. ‘Nintendo’ became a word meaning ‘video game’, and the Mario character became a worldwide sensation.

Since then, games consoles have been an unstoppable industry. Nintendo dominated for years with the NES, the Super NES and the portable Game Boy systems, only to have its dominance threatened by Sony’s Playstation and later Playstation 2 and Portable Playstation (PSP). Despite the fact that the history of mass-market games consoles only really stretches back two decades or so, there have been dozens of consoles in this time, and all-out wars to capture the market. The quality of graphics has improved amazingly in this time – try looking at the original Mario next to a modern game like Grand Theft Auto or Halo – although it is a matter of some debate whether gameplay (the ‘fun factor’) has improved to match.

Probably the biggest thing in games consoles today is the shift towards online gaming, led by Microsoft’s Xbox Live service. Online gaming allows people to play against each other all over the world using nothing more than a TV, a console, an Internet connection, and occasionally a headset to shout insults at each other.

All that could be about to change, however, as Sony prepares to launch the Playstation 3, and Nintendo works on the Wii. The two consoles are set to fight it out over the next few years, with the PS3 taking the position of being very expensive with extremely good graphics, and the Wii being more basic and cheaper, but trying to put the focus back on fun. The Internet is buzzing with Wii supporters who remember the Nintendo games of their youth, and hope for a return to simple, fun games, although it seems unlikely that the battle will be won that easily.

Game Testing for Money

Becoming a game tester is probably a little more than you would expect. There are three things you must have before pursuing a game tester job.

1. A Sincere Love of Playing Video Games!

I mean you love to play all the time and almost never get tired of playing. if you could be fed through a tube you would play forever. If you're a casual player then this might not be for you.

2. You Are Really Good!

You have to also be really good at video games. These companies don't have a lot of time waiting for you to learn the game. If you don't have skills, how can you test a new game for release?

3. Must be 16 Years of Age.

This is a qualification that meets child labor laws and is the minimum age that can be employed for this type of work. If you’re just a bit younger then you can always start getting ready by working on your skills and staying up to date with the new games and trends.

If you have these three things then you have the foundation to be a game tester. The next step is creating a gamer profile and getting it out to the appropriate companies for review.

You can do this yourself, or you can sign up with one of the game tester clubs that are legitimate and they will help do most of the ground work for you.

Don't want to wait? Then check out one of the services in our reviews by clicking the following link. This one does most of the ground work for you.

We reviewed most services and found the ones that can actually help you achieve this goal. Please read our reviews and see if one of these fits you best.

Game Review: Gibbage

Dan Marshall’s long awaited and much-hyped Gibbage has finally hit the streets, but was it worth the wait?
Around two years in development, Gibbage is a relatively simple concept with clearly high aspirations – playability over technological complexity, and thus a true “indie” experience in every way.

A two-dimensional platformer in the style of the 16-bit glory days, Gibbage takes frenetic platform-based item collection and adds a somewhat more modern one-on-one deathmatch feel to the proceedings, resulting in all the multiplayer madness of a game of Counterstrike but all the yesteryear charm of Bonanza Brothers or Chuckie Egg. Gibbage has no support for networks, so look forward to the added retro-styled bonus of being within poking distance of your friend who, just like in the good old days, is being forced to share your keyboard as well as your screen!

Each player is represented by a pod-like chamber on their respective side of the screen, from which, one at a time, emerge an unlimited supply of controllable gun-toting “clones” whose mission is to gather randomly dropped power crystals from around the level. These crystals are then carried back to the pod, and added to the amount of power the player has at their disposal. A tug of war ensues as each player increases their power by securing crystals, but at the same time risking power loss by being killed (and using power to spawn another clone) or losing crystals to the opposition. All the while, each player’s power level is steadily counting down, and the first player to reach zero is declared the loser.

Weaponry can be improved beyond the supplied popgun by the occasional presence of power-up bonus crystals, and these are generally typical upgrades such as homing rockets, land mines or lasers. However, the bonus crystals are also capable of enacting “negative” status changes upon the enemy, often with hilarious consequences. These include such gems as an “armless” state in which your luckless chum will spend several minutes running around unable to fire, with blood pumping from their limbless upper torso, or “cryo” in which the opposing player will be frozen on the spot for a length of time.

The gore, in fact, is another “feature” worthy of discussion, as this game is absolutely loaded with the red stuff. Death will generally result in a shower of gibs (hence the titular choice) and a comically rolling skull, and, as battle ensues, these scattered remains will pile up until stages begin to resemble warzones of the highest order – not for children (or, presumably, Daily Mail readers), this one.

With over 24 maps available, there is plenty here to keep both the casual or more serious gamer occupied, and the developer has sensibly integrated an unlocking system to control the availability of each stage, adding further to the “just one more go” feeling that Gibbage seems designed around.

But for how long will you actually want to play Gibbage? For a start, as a single player game, Gibbage is bordering on useless. The AI opponent begins to become unstuck the moment levels with any form of dangerous obstacle are introduced – cheerfully hurling itself into lava pits in an attempt to recover power crystals randomly dropped onto the deadly surface. If you have no friends, stay away from Gibbage! Multiplayer (clearly the real aim of this game), however, is an experience that, once one acclimatises to the tiny sprites and often rather unpredictable physics, can become a real time waster. A full round, either of long or short duration, will generally play out in a fairly balanced fashion, with a generally steady array of power and bonus crystals coming in regular supply. Perhaps the only criticism here is the tendency for something of a rush of crystals earlier in a game (often three or four falling in quick succession), with rather a dearth later on as players will find nothing left to do but turn their attentions to each other, often causing the rich to become richer in terms of power levels.

Attention too should also be drawn to the cryo bonus, which freezes the opponent for an almost unbearably long time; providing a real table-turner in game fortune and a massive frustration if a large lead was in hand before being crushed by this one swift move.

In conclusion, Gibbage is a bold, humorous and immensely playable title which, at only a £6 price tag, can be forgiven for its niggling playability issues by offering a lasting, entertaining and surprisingly deep (multiplayer!) gaming experience which should out live its asking price by quite a while. Roll on the next Dan Marshall release!

Score: 7/10.

Game for some real games?

As time for outdoor leisure steadily shrinks with increasing working hours, the home computer has come to assume paramount importance. Although computer games have been popular almost ever since PCs became an essential part of homes around the world, it was the Internet, that saw the light of the day in the 90s, that actually metamorphosed gaming to an inconceivable level.

Becoming indispensable in almost all spheres, the Internet, apart from being an unbelievably huge pool of information, has also grown to become an important source of entertainment in the form of online casinos.

Card games may have been popular among computer users even before they heard the term Internet, but the latter brought with itself an almost magical betting experience called the online casino. Well, Internet users have been indulging themselves in gaming ever since the 90's, the official online casino saw the light of the day in 1996, thanks to a law passed by Antigua and Barbados in 1994 that enabled them to issue gambling licenses.

Today, as you search the web and come across hundreds of online casinos boasting of numerous games, it is important that, in order to safeguard your cash and stay save yourself from being duped, you take a look at sites like the www.clubonlinecasino.com and check out the top online casinos that offer not just entertainment but also an excellent track record.

It is a misconception that the games offered at online casinos are drastically different from the card games we have enjoyed for so many years. Most of the online casino games are almost as simple or complicated as the games we play at offline casinos.

Take for example some of the popular games like -

1. Blackjack: You possibly can't deny the popularity of this game the world over. Several online casinos including the very reliable ones you see at www.clubonlinecasino.com offer this game. If you are familiar with this game, you might be surprised to know that it is the most avoidable game by people who are unaware of its intricacies in Blackjack, you have to procure 21 points per head without exceeding the same number of points. It is important that the dealer stands on any total of 17 or more and hits on anything less. This game has been popular ever since it was introduced at online casinos and enjoys the same popularity ever since.

2. Roulette: This game may look confusing and intimidate a novice, but it really quite easy to play. Just read up some basics, try a reliable online casino and you'll realize this yourself. It is said that this popular game was invented by French scientist Blaise Pascal in the year 1665. Ever since Roulette was conceived, there has not been much alteration in the wheel's overall layout and table design.

Take a close look at the wheel, which you must have seen in so many films, and you will realize that every number and symbol is partitioned by metal separators, which when hit by a rolling ball gives the wheel an unpredictable and random motion. The numbers on the wheel are arranged in an attempt to alternate low, high or odd. When the ball comes to rest between the two of the metal separators, it marks the winning number or color. This game enjoys immense popularity both at offline and online casinos.

3. Online video poker: This term is commonly employed to refer to many similar games of poker played at online casinos with slightly differently rules and payoffs, but nevertheless, in the same fashion. The video poker you see on most online casinos is a fusion between contemporary slot machines and traditional poker. During the game, the machine will deal you a hand of five cards. You will have to decide which cards to keep or discard.

The main aim is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible. Many popular video poker games at different online casinos include: Deuces & Joker, Aces & Faces, Double Joker, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Louisiana Double among others.

4. Online Keno: Reminiscent of the game of lottery, online Keno is a game of pure luck. In both the cases, you have to choose a variety of numbers, taking a chance that they would be picked in a draw. The kind of payoff depends on the numbers you get right. This is a fairly simple game where you don' have to strain yourself with too many complicated rules. Point is, do you have the one essential thing needed to win- luck!

5. Online Bingo: Considering the fact that Bingo is a game of chance, there is little that players accessing online casinos can do to alter their luck. As compared to other games, Bingo is a relatively new one and traces its roots from old lotteries. It is said that a French person developed an alternate version of lotteries. Initially, there were horizontal rows and nine vertical rows with blank and numbered in random arrangements. The columns were broken into sets of ten numbers and all the way up to 90 in the last column. At that time, Bingo balls were chips, and pulled out of the sac by the caller. The first player to cover a horizontal row was declared the winner. Bingo is as popular in the cyberspace as it is in offline casinos.

6. Online horse race betting: This is no longer a privilege for the chosen few. Horse betting has been popular for a long time, but traditional betting on horses required you to be physically present in the stadium and stake your put your money on the horse of your choice. But thanks to the Internet and online casinos, you can now engage yourself in betting in virtually any major horse racing event in the world.

An online casino offers you not just the comfort of earning good money sitting at home but many of them also offer rich tips on the game.

So, are you game for some fun and cool bucks?

Game and Movie For PSP-Where To Get Them for Free

So if you want to download game and movie for the PSP, you will find exactly what you need here. Sony’s PSP, or Playstation Portable as it really is, is a wonderful piece of electronic equipment. It is compatible with many diverse types of media, as well as being a truly outstanding machine for gaming. A lot of people don't bother to get a PSP because of the expensive games and movies you need to buy for it, but it is possible, if you look in the right place, to pick up free game and movie for the PSP.

It is virtually common knowledge that you can use the internet to illegally download free games and movies for just about any format or game system, but it is not so well known that with the PSP, you can download free games and movies, and you can do it without breaking the law.

As you look around to try to download free game and movie for the PSP, you will usually encounter these different types of site:

A free download site. These free download sites allow you to download game and movie for the PSP, and a lot of other things as well. At first sight this seems like the answer to a game enthusiast's prayers, but it won't take long to find out that these sites are just an illusion. Most of the game and movie downloads are in a terrible condition. A good number of them won't even work, and even some of those that do will need working on. Added to this is the far more serious problem of potential danger to your computer, through viruses, trojans, and malware, and you will see that these sites are absolutely fraught with danger. As well as this, you will find that the PSP game and movie selection is very old, and you will understand why these sites are such a poor idea. You would do well to stay away from them completely.

A “free membership” service. These sites do genuinely offer you a free membership, and then they do give you access to the free game and movie downloads. What they don't bother to reveal is that each individual download has to be paid for. These sites are not honest and open about the fact that you are charged for each download. Apart from hiding their charges, these sites are not cheap anyway, so you are left wondering what exactly is the point of it all? You may as well purchase the game from an offline store, and get a disc and a box for it.

A genuine movie and game download site. These are the sites that are strongly recommended. When I first got my PSP a while ago I spent a long time just searching for a reliable, trustworthy, download site. It was very annoying at first, but now I've found some really good ones. The only slight negative factor is the upfront fee of around $30 to $40 you need to pay, but at least that is a one off. Once you have paid this once, you then have access to unlimited downloads. This system definitely works. Initially I was wary of the joining fee, but that has paid for itself many times over with all the game and movie for the PSP that I have downloaded. It is not always that easy to download MP4s from some of these sites, but a large number of the genuine ones will give you all of the software you need to get these kind of files onto your PSP.

It is my greatest hope that this guide to downloading game and movie for the PSP will prevent you from being swindled by the all too common disreputable sites. If you find a good genuine site and pay the initial joining fee, you will find that the investment will pay for itself many times over in the long run!
