Tips for Perfect Prints (For Beginners)
Undeniably, photo prints still remain the most popular way of sharing memories. With the right printer and a handful of simple techniques, your pictures can look as sharp as the lab-processed ones. Read on for some great tips for getting the best prints possible.
Start with a Good Image
The first thing you need to get a good print — a high-quality image. An image that merely looks good onscreen is not enough. Here’s what a good image file would have:
Good Resolution
Resolution refers to the number of pixels in an image {usually stated in dpi (dots per inch) or PPI (pixels per inch).}. The more pixels a photo has, the more clarity and detail it will retain as you increase its dimensions. Resolution can also be expressed by the width and height of the image, and the total number of pixels it contains. For example, an image that is 1500 pixels wide and 2100 pixels high (1500 x 2100) contains 3,150,000 pixels—or almost 3.2 mega pixels.
Most digital cameras offer a variety of resolution settings. It’s a good idea to use a higher-quality setting if you plan on printing large sized pictures. Here are some general guidelines:
Less than 640 x 480 pixels = Wallet-size prints. Good for E-mailing to friends , picture displays on the refrigerator etc.
640 x 480 pixels = 4" x 6" photo prints. These are going to be best for photo albums, General usage including craft projects (scrapbooks, stickers, etc).
1152 x 864 pixels = 5" x 7" photo prints. These are good for framing for home display, screensavers and photo greeting cards
1600 x 1200 pixels = 8" x 10" or larger. Good for framing, screensavers for home or gallery display and photo calendars
Best Format
Even if your image is high resolution, you will still need to save it in the correct file format: TIFF or JPEG. For best printing results, always save your pictures in the TIFF format (example: my_friends.tiff). Although this format results in a slightly larger file size, it will produce the most satisfactory results. The JPEG format (example: my_friends.jpg) is preferable for e-mailing photos as it results in smaller, compressed files—ideal for sending electronically.
Quality Control
Use a good image-editing program to remove dust marks and specks on your photos. The printer will most definitely pick up imperfections even if they're very small. You can also use the sharpening option to more clearly define the edges of objects in your print.
Use a Good Printer and Know How to Use it
Once you are familiar with the features and settings of your printer, you will be able to get the best possible results.
Avoid DPI Dilemmas
Dots per inch (dpi) is a measurement of print resolution that indicates the number of individual dots a device can create on a page per square inch of area. For crisp, colourful, professional-looking prints, you should choose a printer with at least 600 x 600 dpi. Otherwise, your photos may turn out pixilated (objects will appear jagged and speckled).
Printer Drivers
Printer drivers play the role of translators, acting as a medium of communication between your printer and computer. To help fix problems and bring significant performance improvements, it is important to use the most current version available for your printer. Printer manufacturers regularly update drivers, and you can download new versions for free from the company’s website.
Resolution Settings
Refer to your printer’s manual to learn how to change quality settings. Usually, you would want ‘best quality’ resolution for photos; however, for wallet-size prints, ‘normal’ resolution may be enough. Experiment with your printer settings to see which ones give you satisfactory results.
Paper Settings
Paper settings control the amount of ink that is laid down on paper; therefore, using the setting that matches your photo paper is essential to making good prints. When you find a setting that works best for a particular paper type, make note of it so you will be able to get the same results when you use that paper again.
Clean and Clear
Running the ‘clean’ function in your printer every two to three months improves print appearance and prevents problems such as streaking and clogging. You can access ‘properties’ settings to perform maintenance actions such as cleaning the printer nozzles and aligning the print head.
Understand Your Ink and Paper
Your choice of printing supplies, such as paper and ink, can make the difference between a good print and a great one.
Paper and Ink Selection
Using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplies would definitely assure you of the quality but they come with a price. Nowadays, Canon and HP boast of inks that deliver optimum colour and fade resistance up to 110 years. Non-OEM supplies are definitely cheaper, but its debatable whether they can achieve the same quality.
Drying Time
Before you frame a photo print or add it to a scrapbook, be sure to give it enough time to dry. Most OEM inks and papers are designed to dry within an hour or so, but it is best to allow the print to dry for about 24 hours prior to framing or placing it in a photo album.
If you are printing multiple pictures, remove them from the printer slide as they come out and set them aside. This will eliminate any chances of accidental smearing or running.

Casual games - take it serious
Computer games has always been popular. More and more people play games all over the world. A new kind of games, such as casual games, has become widespread besides console and large games, distributed on CD/DVD. The difference is in the fact that a user can download them freely from the Internet due to their small size and start playing. A small size doesn't mean that these games are not of of good quality as, for example, games for play stations. They excite gamers. The difference is only in gamers audience. Classic games are intended for so-called hard-core gamers, who are ready to spend long hours playing and perfecting their game-playing skills. They are usually teenagers; however they can be adults as well and vice versa, casual games is intended for people who can play during lunch, a break, after school or work and in their spare time. An increasing amount of adult people enjoy playing these games.
A number of companies producing casual games is increasing constantly. As a rule, it is small companies with small budgets who makes casual games in comparison with companies, producing large games. But in spite of their budgets, they produce high quality casual games, and new interesting ideas can be seen in them. In short, it is simply another market/trend with a life of it's own.
The Internet is the principal way of distributing casual games. Having downloaded a game and installed it, you can start playing immediately. It's the “shareware” principle, or “try before buy”. You can check it out before buying and decide if you want it or not. It's an advantage in comparison with classic games, when one buys a game on a basis of indirect information about it. Purchasing of casual games is simple as well and could be done on-line. After that the user receives fully functional game without any restrictions.
As a rule, dedicated game portals deal with game distribution in the Internet. Developers themselves can distribute their products, but it takes a lot of time and efforts. The smartest way is to entrust it to professionals.
Our company Fenomen Games is dealing with distribution of casual games, thoroughly chosen all over the Internet, and is a striking example of a game portal. The Necessity of Barcode Printers in Modern Times
A barcode is a machine-readable representation of information in a visual format on a surface. Barcode is widely used to implement Auto ID Data Capture (AIDC) systems that improve the speed and accuracy of computer data entry.
A barcode printer is a computer peripheral for printing barcode labels or tags that can be attached to physical objects. Barcode printers are commonly used to label cartons before shipment, or to label retail items with Universal Product Codes.
Desktop barcode printer has become a commonplace tool for entering product information at retail chains and shopping complexes. Industrial barcode printers are used in manufacturing facilities and large warehouses helping in inventory management and sales process automation.
The most common barcode standards are UPCs and EANs.
Universal Product Code Bar Code - The standard bar code printed on retail merchandise. It contains the vendor's identification number and the product number which is read by passing the bar code over a scanner.
European Article Numbering is the European standard for barcodes. There are two different versions of EAN bar codes, EAN-13 and EAN-8, which encode 13- and 8-digit numbers, respectively. A special EAN-13 bar code with a 5-digit supplemental code is used on books to encode the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and the price. This bar code is called “Bookland”.
Traditional one-dimensional bar codes use the bar's width to encode a product or an account number. Two-dimensional bar codes, such as PDF417, MaxiCode and DataMatrix, are scanned horizontally and vertically and hold considerably more data. PDF417 is widely used for general purposes. MaxiCode is used for high-speed sorting, and DataMatrix is used for marking small parts.
Barcode Printers employ two major printing methods – Direct Thermal (DT) and Thermal Transfer (TT).
Direct thermal printers use a print head to generate heat that causes a chemical reaction in specially designed paper that turns the paper black. Direct thermal printers are generally less expensive, but they produce labels that can become illegible if exposed to heat, direct sunlight, or chemical vapors. Barcode printers require regular cleaning of the ribbon and the print head. Specks of dust may cause distortion of the bar codes. The outputs of these printers using ANSI software need to be continuously checked in order to check for system malfunctions.
Thermal transfer printers also use heat, but instead of acting directly on the paper, the heat melts a waxy or resin substance on a ribbon that runs over the label or tag material. The heat transfers ink from the ribbon to the paper. Thermal Transfer requires the use of a heated ribbon to produce long-lasting images of data onto a label and/or tag, whereas Direct Thermal process prints the image directly on the label/tag.
Direct thermal and thermal transfer barcode printers can print bar code labels on variety of media. The range of bar code printers vary from light duty printers to rugged and high speed industrial printers for meeting diverse requirements. In industrial printers, the range varies from medium to heavy duty to extra heavy duty printers. These printers can be integrated to existing applications / ERP for on demand label/tag printing.
Industrial barcode printers are used in large warehouses and manufacturing facilities. They have large paper capacities, operate faster and have a longer service life. For retail and office environments, desktop barcode printers are most common.

Casino Bonuses
Online casinos offer a variety of casino bonuses to attract new players to their online casino . There are five types of casino bonuses available to new players. These five types of casino bonuses include:
• Sign-up Bonuses
• Cashable Bonuses
• Sticky Bonuses
• Cash Back Bonuses
• Comp Points
Sign-up Bonuses
Sign-up bonuses are online casino bonuses that provide new players who have just signed-up a bonus when they make their first deposit into their account. These bonuses usually match their deposit up to a certain percentage. This type of casino bonus typically has a maximum on the amount of wagering the person is allowed to do before they can cash out.
An example of this type of online casino bonus is when an online casino offers new players a deposit match up to 100%. The player is then required to wager 25 times their total deposit amount, plus the bonus amount before they can withdraw their winnings. Wagers on specific games such as craps, roulette, baccarat and sic bo do not count towards wager requirements.
In this example, there are certain conditions that are applied the bonus. So, in this situation, if the new player deposited $100 and received a 100% bonus, they would have $200 in their account. To meet the rules, they would have to wager $5,000 in online casino games before they can withdraw their winnings.
Cashable Bonuses
Cashable bonuses are the most common type of casino bonus. These allow the person to cash out after they have met their wagering requirement. This online casino bonus is similar to that of the sign-up bonus, but they can be cashed out after meeting the wagering requirement. Therefore, you may have to wager a certain percentage of your deposit, but the bonus amount is not included in that amount. This allows you to withdraw your winnings plus the bonus.
There are often certain restrictions on the games that count towards your wagering. For instance, many casinos will not count wagers made on games such as craps, baccarat, sic bo and roulette. This is because these games provide the person a greater opportunity to bet simultaneously on these games. For instance, a person could bet on the banker's hand and the player's hand in a game of baccarat.
Sticky Bonuses
These are a non-cashable casino bonus. These bonuses can be used to be, but you are not allowed to cash them out. When a person makes their withdrawal, the bonus amount is typically removed from the person's withdrawal amount. With a sticky casino bonus, the player may receive a 100% match on their deposit and then they have a percentage amount that they must wager. For instance, if they deposit $100, then they receive a $100 bonus. The player must then wager $2000 worth, but when the player withdrawals their winnings, the $100 bonus is then removed from the amount.
Additionally, these bonuses do not allow you to withdrawal $100 or less. This is because there would be nothing to withdrawal once the casino bonus is removed.
Cash Back Bonuses
These bonuses are provided to the player after a loss. Once the player loses in a game, the player's loss is then returned. For instance, a casino may offer a 25% cash back bonus each week. An players who had a loss during the week would receive a 25% online casino bonus that week.

Router - How It Works
If you've been brought up in the 21st century then you probably take a lot of things for granted that 30 years ago people just didn't have. One of those things is the Internet and its ability to be able to connect people from all over the world and allow them to interact with each other in a variety of ways including sending email, visiting web sites, joining forums, attending online chats and countless other things. But none of this would be possible if it weren't for a device that most people have never seen and probably don't even know exist, called a router.
Routers are pieces of equipment that send messages from everyone connected to the network along thousands of different pathways. We're going to take a behind the scenes look at exactly how these routers work.
Let's say you're sending an email to a friend of yours who is living across country or even in another part of the world. How does the email know to end up on your friend's computer instead of all the other millions of computers all over the world? A good part of the work to get these messages from one computer to another is handled by routers. Rather than pass messages within networks, routers pass messages from one network to another.
To get an idea of how this works, let's take a very simple example.
Let's say you have two departments. Department A with 5 employees and Department B with 5 employees. Let's say that Employee 1 from Department A wants to send an email to Employee 3 at Department B. Each department is part of its own network of computers. A router links the two networks together so that they can communicate with each other. It is the only piece of equipment that sees both networks. Many people ask, why not just make one network? The simple answer is that if the two departments do two completely different jobs for the company and send massive amounts of info within the department, you don't want to slow down the other department with the one department's info. To ease what they call the "traffic burden" the two departments are separated into two networks with a router put between them to connect them just in case they do want to communicate for some reason.
The way the router knows what to send where is with what is called a configuration table. These configuration table consists of info on which connections lead to which addresses, priorities for each connection, and rules for how to handle the passing of info between networks. The router then has two basic jobs. The main task is to make sure that information doesn't go where it's not needed so that the volume of data doesn't clog up the network and the next task is to make sure the information goes to where it's supposed to go.
To simplify how this happens, the router looks at the destination address of each packet sent from the source location. It checks its table to see where this address is and sends each packet to that address, bypassing all the other addresses in the network so as not to slow the network down.
In future articles we'll take a more in depth and technical look at how packets are actually routed. Get on your thinking gear for this one.

Career In Game Testing
Becoming a game tester is probably a little more than you would expect. There are three things you must have before pursuing a game tester job.
1. A Sincere Love of Playing Video Games!
I mean you love to play all the time and almost never get tired of playing. if you could be fed through a tube you would play forever. If you're a casual player then this might not be for you.
2. You Are Really Good!
You have to also be really good at video games. These companys don't have a lot of time waiting for you to learn the game. If you don't have skills, how can you test a new game for release?
3. Must be 16 Years of Age.
This is a qualification that meets child labor laws and is the minimum age that can be employed for this type of work. If your just a bit younger then you can always start getting ready by working on your skills and staying up to date with the new games and trends.
If you have these three things then you have the foundation to be a game tester. The next step is creating a gamer profile and getting it out to the appropriate companies for review.
You can do this yourself, or you can sign up with one of the game tester clubs that are legitimate and they will help do most of the ground work for you.
Don't want to wait? Then check out one of the services in our reviews by clicking the link in the author or resource box with this article..

repair your laptop easy and by your self
Take care of your laptop battery and ensure that it will be ready to work properly when you need it most. Some general tips for laptop care from LaptopRev.com include: avoid extreme temperatures, don’t leave a laptop outside in cold weather or leave it in a hot car. Cold batteries can’t create very much power and hot batteries will discharge very quickly. Use electrical power when available to keep battery charged. Don’t let your laptop go for long periods of time without using the battery.
1. Smaller Is Better
Consider an ultraportable or thin-and-light rather than a desktop replacement laptop. Smaller displays use less power. Going with a hard drive that runs at 4200rpm uses less power than a hard drive running at 540
2. Power Control
Use as little power as possible by adjusting laptop settings. Use the Power Options to set to the laptop to go inactive after a set amount of time. Set adjustments so that the display goes off first, then hard the hard drive stay active a bit longer and store the system content’s to the RAM.
3. Turn Down the Lights
Adjust the display brightness to a lower setting, make sure you can view the screen without squinting. You can also adjust the brightness of the display to suit the conditions you are working in.
4. Watch Your Battery Use
Keep an eye on your battery consumption and know how much power you have remaining. Use the battery power icon on the system tray or you can purchase batteries which have LED gauges on the outside of the battery itself.
5. Charging It Up
Whenever you have access to a power source, charge the battery. Before you leave on any trips, fully charge the batteries, especially if you don’t know where or when you might have access to any electrical outlets.
6. Get Another Battery
Some laptops are capable of running with two batteries. If you cannot run two batteries, check with the manufacturer to see if there are high capacity batteries available. External batteries can also be used to extend operating time.
7. Drain the Battery
The first time you use your laptop with battery power, allow the laptop battery to completely discharge. Do this at least twice and don’t try to charge the battery when it is half discharged.
8. Clean Batteries
Keep the battery and its connections clean and free of debris. Clean your battery terminals on a regular basis using a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol on the tip.
9. CMOS Battery Check-Up
The backup battery is a CMOS battery which is a secondary battery to power the clock and can drain a main battery if it is dead. Check with your User Manual or manufacturer’s web site for the location of the CMOS battery and where to get a replacement.
10. Turning It Off
Don’t run programs or devices that you aren’t using. Remove PC cards and turn off Wi-Fi software. Using your laptop to watch movies or play games will drain the battery quickly as well.

Can work ever be funny?
Sometimes work can be the worst thing in life, it is generally viewed as nothing more than a means to an end. Most of the time the only thing that you really think about is, what am I going to do when I get out of this damm place. Then every now and again something very funny happens in work, and it changes your attitude, you realise work sometimes really can be enjoyable.
The following extract is a true story that happened about 5 years ago….
I worked as a vehicle engineer in the Army; I had slowly progressed through the ranks and eventually after 18 years had reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. I was responsible for the day to day repair of about 200 vehicles and 20 tradesmen.
One morning I was called into the ASM’s (Boss) office, he must have been bored as he informed me he was going to test the guys engineering and adaptability skills, I could feel myself starting to daydream. He had decided to test out the guys skills by having A Great Egg Race. The idea was for the tradesmen to manufacture a self powered machine, that must not contain anything metallic, that would carry an egg the furthest distance across the shop floor.. I tried to appear keen, however deep down I was wondering who would be in the snooker club that night.
The next morning I went into the ASM’s office and found him covered in cardboard and tape, “I will show the boys who can design a machine” he said, I left him to it. All day his meetings were cancelled and I was told not to bother him.
I must admit to being surprised how much interest The Great Egg Race had attracted. The young tradesmen had been split into groups of 3 and were busy designing and manufacturing all sorts of wonderful inventions. I went into the Boss’s office he was sat behind his desk with a smug look on his face. “It’s ready” he said, he opened his locker and showed me this cardboard ‘Thing’. He smiled so much I was sure he had fallen in love with the contraption, “That’s the winner”, he exclaimed.
The day had eventually arrived, morale was high as the afternoon would be spent drinking beer, also, the race was eagerly anticipated. After lunch the beer was flowing. It was nice to see the guys enjoying themselves. A few hours later the ASM called all the entries forward for the race. I must admit although not taking part myself I was very impressed by the intricate designs of the self propelled machines. The boss disappeared into his office, and came out beaming holding his baby. He was sure to win, a lifetime of engineering experience surely he would win the race. The eggs were issued to team captains. I will go first said the Boss this was greeted by moans from everyone. His egg was placed in the cardboard cockpit; it looked like a cardboard drag racer, powered by a very strong elastic band. The band was fully charged and we were ready. The time keeper screamed, “Stand by…….GO”…….
The boss released the beast, the cardboard wheels nearly set on fire they were spinning so fast, however the machine stayed stationary, eventually the ‘Beast’ did move, it flipped upside down and cracked the egg.
I tried for a second to control myself, however it really was no use - I fell on the floor laughing, I simply could not control myself. What made it worse was when the Boss started screaming he was having another go. He was however informed his rules stated contestants were only issued with one egg.
Eventually for fear of repercussions a new egg was issued to the boss, he would get another go at the end. Take 2 for The Beast, this time the rubber band was charged even tighter. With a new egg strapped in the cockpit the fully charged machine was released. This time it jumped forward and the took off, in fact it screamed forward, all I recollect of the second attempt was this thing screaming across the shop floor being chased by over 50 people, in the middle of them was the boss, jumping up and down like a schoolboy screaming “Go on you beauty”.
The rest of the afternoon was spent drinking more beer, every time I looked at the boss’s beaming face I cracked up with laughter. This small incident reminded me that I should not really take work so seriously, at times it can actually be fun.

OLED-Displays
Short for organic light-emitting diode, a display device that sandwiches carbon-based films between two charged electrodes, one a metallic cathode and one a transparent anode, usually being glass.
The organic films consist of a hole-injection layer, a hole-transport layer, an emissive layer and an electron-transport layer. When voltage is applied to the OLED cell, the injected positive and negative charges recombine in the emissive layer and create electro luminescent light. Unlike LCDs, which require backlighting, OLED displays are emissive devices - they emit light rather than modulate transmitted or reflected light.
OLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. It is beginning to replace LCD technology in handheld devices such as PDAs and cellular phones because the technology is brighter, thinner, faster and lighter than LCDs, use less power, offer higher contrast and are cheaper to manufacture. An important step in the evolutionary process began with the use of thin-film organic layers. The first EL thin-film device used a single organic layer sandwiched between two injecting electrodes.
OLEDs are the latest and most promising buzzwords in display technology. To give you an idea of their potential, imagine a cardboard-thin TV screen. Now imagine that you can roll up your TV, put it away or carry it wherever you go. Automatically, you start appreciating why millions, if not billions, of dollars are being poured into OLED research every year.

Buying World Of Warcraft Levels VS Power Leveling Yourself
Leveling in World of Warcraft can be very time come summing and at sometimes difficult. Spending hours playing the game just of for a couple levels a day may be getting you frustrated. So you may consider just buying your levels from a power leveling service. But lets see if buying your way to level 70 is really wroth it.
First let s take a look at buying your way to level 70 in World of Warcraft. So you load up Google at do a search for world of warcraft leveling service or some other relative keyword. After search around for the cheapest power leveling service you select one that you like. The next step would be to make sure that the wow leveling service is real; after all you don t want to pay for a service that s just going to take your money. After researching the company and you feel comfortable with there service. You decide to place and order. And that s that, so what are some pros and cons of buying power leveling service.
Some pros are that you don t have to work for the level; you hired someone to level for you, also the person that is leveling your character is a professional game. The pro gamer may know more tricks and secrets about World of Warcraft they you. Another pro is you could order at night then go to sleep and wake up 15+ more levels higher. It s like having your cake and eating it to.
But there are some cons that go with buying your Warcraft levels. Since you are not the one actually doing the leveling your not getting the game experience, so when your are level 70 and your in a party, you may not be a effective party member do to your lack of game experience. The biggest reason that you really shouldn t buy your levels is, you have to give out your login in name and password and what server you re on. I never recommend give out this personal information do to the fact that its link to a credit or debit card. The last disadvantage of buying a warcraft leveling service is that there not all are legit. There are a lot of so called leveling services that are just out to steal credit card numbers and/or warcraft login accounts. That s why if your considering buying from a leveling service, you have to do your research on that company.
So is there a way to quickly wow power level yourself, so you don t have to worry about some of the cons that I listed above. Well the answer in short is yes, you can learn the secrets that the professional gamers use when you buy a wow leveling service. After all if it works for the people that are leveling your character then it has to work for you. There are several World of Warcraft power leveling guides. But the top one has to be Brains Kopps 1-60, 60-70 power leveling guide. In this guide it teaches you the secrets of power leveling in warcraft, the ones that the pro gamers use. By power leveling this way you are not only are you getting the gaming experience you are quickly leveling your wow character. Also, since you are not giving out your account information you don t have to worry about credit card fraud or someone stealing your account. This is a big plus for me.
So in closing, what I m saying is if you want something done right, then you re going to have to do it yourself. Power leveling guides gives you all of the benefits of a leveling service with none of the disadvantages.

Numerical models considering thermal roll and rolling forces.
The thermal rolls of print media of this invention comprise a core/spindle and a sheet, preferably continuous, of a print medium of substantially the same width as the core/spindle. The sheet of print medium is wound around the core/spindle to provide a thickness of layered paper on the core/spindle of at least one half inch, measured from the periphery of the core/spindle to the outer layer of the sheet of print medium on the roll. At least one side of the wound sheet of print medium is marked with at least one impression which serves as an identifying mark. The "sides" of the roll of a print medium, as referred to herein, are where the edges of the wound print medium are exposed. The term "impression" as used herein includes shallow indentations as well as realignment of the edges of the wound print medium and realignment of the fibers within the wound print medium. In realigning the edges and/or fibers of the wound print medium, there may be no indentation which is detectable and in certain embodiments, no indentation at all.
Thermal paper rolls in the past is no longer true. While thermal tape used to be an uncommon alternative due to a short lifespan and high prices, it's now the most viable choice. Recent developments have led to better technology, including advanced chemical films and more durable substrata.
The rolling force and roll deformation behavior in the twin-roll-type strip continuous casting process have been computed to estimate the thermal characteristics of a caster roll. To calculate the rolling force, the relationship between the flow stress and strain for a roll material and a casting alloy are assumed as a function of the strain rate and temperature, because the mechanical properties of casting materials depend on temperature. Temperature field data for a caster roll, provided by the authors, were used to estimate the roll deformation. Therfore, numerical models considering the thermal and rolling forces have been developed to estimate the roll life. Roll life considering the thermal cycle is calculated using thermal elastic-plastic analysis results. The roll life is proposed in terms of roll revolution in the caster roll models with and without the fine crack failure on the roll surface. To obtain plastic strain distributions of the caster roll, thermomechanical properties of a roll sleeve with a copper alloy are obtained by a uniaxial tensile test for variation of temperature. The proposed analysis techniques have improved in caster roll design.

Buying EVE ISK
Eve Online is one of the biggest crazes in online gaming today. It is a multiplayer game set in a science fiction setting, where players may pilot many different ships through the universes. This universe is made up of over five thousand solar systems. Those who play EVE online can participate in many different activities and jobs. These can include, but are not limited to, mining, trade, and manufacturing. Combat also happens in the world of EVE Online, and it may be between player and player, or even player versus the environment. As the player goes on, the range of activities he or she can do gradually increases. Having enough EVE ISK is important to be able to accomplish the goals you have set.
Those that play EVE Online use the single currency unit called Inter Stellar Credit, otherwise known as ISK. ISK comes from the Icelandic krona, and this ISO code is ISK. There are many ways to use ISK while playing EVE Online. Players can use it to barter for items between each other, use the available market to purchase items, or use a Loyalty Points store. ISK can also be used to place and accept contracts between other players for transactions that are ISK based in the game.
Those who use the Loyalty Points system can use their EVE ISK money in combination with the loyalty points to buy basic items they need. They typically cost lower this way, and it is also possible to use loyalty points to get items that are sometimes hard to obtain.
There are websites dedicated for those who want to buy EVE ISK for their game. Most websites do not even require you to be a member to purchase EVE ISK, you simply choose what and how much ISK you wish to purchase and do so. Most websites take all credit cards, debit cards and PayPal so that the buying experience is fast and easy. ISK can be purchased 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anytime the gamer needs to fill their vault. Buyers can typically purchase the quantity of EVE ISK that they want, from 100 EVE ISK to 5,000 EVE ISK, and many different increments in between. Typically, websites will give bigger discounts on your order the bigger the amount of ISK you is purchase.
Most websites can deliver your ISK to you within 30 minutes or less. Customer service is a must when looking to purchase EVE ISK online, so be sure the website you use offers a toll-free number, or live chat. That way, your transactions are sure to go off without a hitch, and if there is a problem, real people can help you solve it in no time.
For those who play, having enough EVE ISK is the building block for a universe that is built on economics. When you own enough EVE ISK, you can have much more control over your part of the universe. Buying EVE ISK online can help build the right ship, or make modifications to an existing one. Buying the proper amount of ISK is important when playing EVE online, as the more you have, the more you can do in your online gaming experience.

Business Lessons I Learned From Online Roleplaying Games
Most people, if asked how their hobbies and their work concerns come together, would say hobbies are a distraction from work. Games and other diversions take time that you might otherwise be spent getting things done. Online text-based games are some of the worse culprits for this, since employees sometimes find themselves diverted in the office itself.
Online Roleplaying Games (RPGs), however, are the ground where real life meets total entertainment. In them, although you are certainly being entertained, you're also learning important lessons about society, and being a part of a group. These lessons can serve you well in the workplace.
The Top Four Business Lessons I Learned From Online RPGs
1. Treat Others Respectfully
When I first started text-based gaming, I was utterly clueless. I didn't know how to talk to someone out of character, or even that there was any reason I shouldn't just use the "say" command. People could figure it out from context, right?
This was back in 1997, on Harper's Tale MOO. When I arrived, people walked me through everything I needed to know. They told me how to get a client, how to use the game commands, how to communicate OOCly, and what I needed to know to get started. They were remarkably patient with me, and, as I became a veteran player myself, it became my job to take on that role, to deal with the raw newbies, the rude trolls looking for confrontation, and the demanding players seeking special treatment.
In the workforce, there is nothing more challenging than dealing with someone who frustrates you in a calm, professional manner. Whether it is a domineering boss, an incompetent contractor, or a rude customer, you are almost guaranteed to encounter someone in your line of work who makes you want to tear your hair out. Managing them with grace, tact, and respect uses the same skills that helped me deal with difficult people online as an area leader on Harper's Tale, a player helper on FiranMUX, and a staff member on Laegaria MOO.
2. Fulfill Your Obligations
A text-based game takes work to maintain, and the people who do that work have a thankless job, in many ways. Anyone who has ever maintained code for an online RPG knows how much time that can suck up, but that is the least part of it. There are dozens of little jobs that need to be done by someone: adding players to areas, approving character applications, writing help and news files, organizing events. In many ways, online responsibility serves as an invaluable step between pleasure and business.
In the business world, one easy way to be sure you never earn promotions or gain a position of trust is to fail to meet deadlines. When you say you can do something, people expect you to get it done, or to tell them why you didn't. In the online world, there is a much less rigidly codified version of this same system. When I volunteered to build up a new codebase for X-Men Movieverse, I knew that nothing dire would befall me if I backed out, but I would be letting my friends down. If I agree to organize an RPed festival event on FiranMUX, it is my responsibility to be there for it, and if I fail, there may be consequences, but they aren't life-shattering. If I choose not to take that responsibility, I don't need to. Learning to fulfill the responsibilities of an online game helped prepare me for the responsibilities of the business world.
3. Bullet Points Only!
The other day, I had to meet with my boss about a project we've been working on. He was strapped for time, so warned me I only had five minutes. I took the list of topics I needed to go over with him, wrote up a concise version, and was ready. When I went in, I was ready to hammer my way through the meeting. I hit bullet points one at a time, with lists of options detailing pros and cons, and had decisions on six points within those five minutes. He commented to be as we were leaving that he was impressed by how well I'd distilled the problem down to its core points.
It wasn't until that evening, when I found myself writing an IC speech for FiranMUX, that I realized how much of that ability came from my time online. Not only does Firan have a habit of scoffing at its longer-winded speechwriters, the nature of online RPGs enforced concision. In a text-based medium, everything takes longer than it does in person, because typing is more time-consuming than talking. Planning a meeting or a class to run in a reasonable amount of time online requires brutal pruning of non-essentials, and most people learn in time to prune their material down to the core. If you can extend that to the business world, you're a step ahead of the game.
4. Keep It Quiet
One of the strangest things for my brother when he started working full-time was the need to conceal from family and friends what he is working on. Most companies ask some degree of discretion from their employees, and that can be hard for people who are used to sharing anything their friends might find of interest.
Fortunately, I was cured of that need through my online gaming. Although some games I play on, particularly X-Men Movieverse, encourage OOC spill of information, to build a deeper world tapestry, games like FiranMUX are very firm about maintain OOC secrecy on character issues. As such, I learned to keep absolutely fascinating plot arcs secret from all of my friends. After that, the decidedly less fascinating confidential aspects of my job were relatively easy to keep under wraps.

Brian Kopp's Levelling Guide-Is It Any Good? Find Out First!
Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide was created by a guy called Brian Kopp who has been playing WOW since it has been released mostly as an Alliance Character to find the quickest way through the quests.
Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide features mainly on questing and not grinding which is a change to most WoW Power Levelling guides as a lot of them tell you that grinding is the fastest way to level up!
Also because Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide focuses mainly on questing, instead of just killing as much as you can you will get more fun out of the game as well.
Although this still leaves the question is Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide any good?
Well, to answer this we shall look at some of the aspects within Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide and first of it does just focus on the quests that give you the most XP and misses out the ones that are not worth bothering with.
So if you want to experience World of Warcraft as a full game and every quest then Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide is probably not for you. However it also contain full maps and diagrams with the quickest route for each mission which can be very helpful.
Also Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide features some mods which enable you to see how quickly you are levelling up and all in all is a nicely laid out guide.
If you are an Alliance Player and just want to get to level 70 as fast as possible then I would say Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide is worth a look. If you want to do all the instances and experience the full game as it was intended then Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide probably will not be much use to you!
I hope this quick overview of Brian Kopp s Levelling Guide has been of use and helps you get more form World of Warcraft!

LED lighting modules: taking the heat out of the situation
The appeal of using LEDs in lighting applications is growing rapidly. The numerous and significant benefits of using modules that incorporate a matrix of LEDs are being recognized by design engineers in several key industry sectors, including aerospace, architectural lighting, and the “golden egg” automotive market.
Attributes such as design flexibility, low power consumption, even and reliable light, and long lifetime distinguish LED modules from designs based on traditional filament lamps and fluorescent tubes. LEDs can also have knock-on benefits, such as greatly reducing the size and complexity of the module and simplifying the lens design.
A good example of some other benefits of LED lighting is demonstrated by an application in the cabin of a passenger aircraft. A retrofit LED unit that replaced a fluorescent-tube lighting module enabled finely controlled dimming and also provided mood lighting through the use of differently coloured LEDs.
Thermal management
Perhaps the most challenging issue when realizing a module design that uses LEDs is to manage the temperature of individual device junctions during normal operation. If the considerable amount of heat produced by all the devices in a module is not managed correctly then the junction temperatures may reach a level where the LEDs’ expected life is shortened and reliability is compromised (see Links).
LED modules typically comprise a matrix of many surface mount devices. These LEDs are soldered to an etched copper layer that provides the interconnects between the individual LEDs as well as other passive and active components that are required to complete the circuit. The small size of the LEDs and the close proximity with which they can be mounted means that designers have a huge amount of design freedom and can achieve complex lighting patterns with high levels of brightness.
The etched copper circuit is separated from a base plate – usually made of aluminum – by a thermally efficient, electrically isolating dielectric material. The characteristics and capabilities of the dielectric layer are key to the design flexibility and performance of the overall module.
Dielectric materials are made by blending thermally efficient materials such as alumina and boron nitride with other ingredients, to provide a flexible yet resilient coating on the base plate. An important characteristic of the dielectric layer is the amount of electrical isolation it provides between the copper on the topside and the metallic base plate on the underside. This is known as its dielectric strength. A typical dielectric material may possess a dielectric strength of around 800 V/mil and be coated onto the base plate to a thickness of 8–12 mils (1 mil = 1 inch–3 = 25.4 Āµm).
Dielectric materials used on insulated metal circuit boards usually have a thermal conductivity figure in the region of 3W/mK. This is approximately 10 times the performance achieved by FR4 (flame retardant woven glass reinforced epoxy resin) PCB material.
A further key requirement of the dielectric layer is to be able to compensate for the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the copper track on the topside of the assembly and the aluminum base plate/heat spreader on the bottom side.
Going three-dimensional
Flat sheets of insulated metal circuit board comprising copper foil, a dielectric layer and an aluminum base plate have been available for several years. In the eyes of the forward-thinking LED module designer, the main problem has been that flat sheets of insulated metal circuit board limit them to 2D shapes.
To address these limitations, new dielectric materials are becoming available that have a low modulus, meaning that they are compliant with mechanical stress and strain. These materials not only accommodate the coefficient of expansion of the metal elements of the construction, but also enable parts to be formed into right angles, and even through 360˚. This enables designers to realize complex-shaped designs and ones that form a complete circle with either internal or external copper traces.
When designing with new, formable insulated metal circuit board materials it is possible to route the tracks around corners, which alleviates the need to use connectors and hard wiring. There are several benefits to this, including enhanced reliability resulting from having fewer junctions and interconnects. Despite the slightly higher cost of the new materials, the overall cost is reduced because fewer components are needed, and assembly time is reduced.
Strength and durability
LEDs themselves are inherently durable. Mounting them on metal based circuit boards only serves to enhance their robustness and that of the finished module, providing excellent resistance to vibration and mechanical shock.
Automotive lighting clusters provide a good example of how LED modules can provide superior performance compared with traditional filament lamps. On-vehicle applications experience high levels of vibration and wide operating temperature ranges that can cause premature failure of filament lamps. In some operating conditions LEDs can last up to 100,000 hours, which means that they should not require any attention for the life of the vehicle.
The long life of LEDs also simplifies the designers’ task because it is less important to make the lighting module accessible for servicing in the finished product. This can result in a neater, more integrated installation and also in potential cost savings.
Temperature modelling
Thermal analysis software packages are available to help prove LED based module designs before they are committed to manufacture.
These software packages gather data from an integrated database about LED performance and specifications along with those of other devices that are mounted on the insulated metal circuit board. This data is combined with other information about elements of the design, including the copper traces, power and ground planes, and vias. The collated information is then processed to produce an accurate representation of the thermal performance of the design.
User-friendly graphical representations of the results enable the design engineer to quickly pinpoint areas that may require attention, right down to component and track level.
Thermal analysis software can bring significant commercial and design benefits by helping speed the time to market and reducing the number of iterations needed to reach a production-ready solution.

Brian Kopp’s Alliance Guide – 1-70 In a Week?
You want to find out how to get from level 1-70 in World of Warcraft in a hurry right? Well, my friend. You have come to the right place.
My journey from 1-70 wasn't exactly a fast one on my Warrior due to real life circumstances. Circumstances such as working 10 hours per day, having a wife to spend time with and for the past 6 months having a new daughter. No, my play time wasn't exactly "hardcore" play time as many of you would refer to.
You see, I started playing Wow the day that it came out. I made several characters and leveled them all up slowly. Real life kept pulling me away from putting in a lot of time. As time went by more and more real life things piled up. Well, I finally managed to get my warrior to about level 50 by the time The Burning Crusade came out. Then a couple months into release I made it to 60. At that point, I decided it was time to actually break down and look for some help.
I searched the internet for a few free guides. I tried to follow them but there was holes in them where they would forget to explain what quests to do, how to do them. Even if they did tell the quests I still spent at least half of my online time looking up the information on how to do them. Then finally, I came across a pay guide wrote by Brian Kopp. I had told myself I wasn't going to actually spend any more money than my initial purchase of the game and monthly subscriptions on Wow but was desperate.
So, I purchased the guide sometime in March. I downloaded it, read the instructions and installed the map mod that Brian Kopp includes. Brian Kopp did an excellent job looking at what Joanna did for the Horde and applied it to the Alliance races. The map mod, you ask? YES! That’s right, an awesome map mod. Brian Kopp actually didn't write any map mod himself. Instead, he tells you to download and install meta map. A completely free add-on wrote for Wow. Then, with his guide he includes a database that you import into the add-on. This database is actually a list of coordinates for pretty much every, single, alliance zone in the game. Each of these coordinates corresponds with a set of coordinates in his guide. For example, Brian's guide will tell you to go to 34.67 and pick up a quest called Into the Outlands (or whatever). Then, he will tell you to go to 46.79 to complete the quest. With this information you can easily open your map, highlight the coordinates he tells you to go to and simply go there! This makes looking up quest information on the internet obsolete. You will NEVER have to look up the information again.
Not only does this guide give you exact coordinates of what quests to get, where to get them but it also links them together in the most efficient way possible. Sometimes you may have 4-5 quests that can all be completed in one general area. Brian makes sure that you do them all in that area rather than doing 1-2, running back to town, turning them in, and running back. He takes care of all the research for you.
If you're interested in Brian Kopp's guide simply go over to his website: Brian Kopp's 1-70 Guide and check it out. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. In about 2 years of playing I barely managed to get to 60, then in no time with his guide I finished out to 70 and now have another level 63 and 60 on their way to the top! Alliance characters have a lot of different paths they can take at this point. Brain Kopps Alliance Leveling Guide offers various tips and strategies for you to improve your game for levels 1-60.

Inside View On Printers
Printers have certainly come a long way since the inception of the character and and dot matrix printers.
These ancient products (ancient in technical terms being as few as 10-15 years) were what are known as impact printers, simply because they needed to make a physical connection with the paper in order to achieve the ink-on-paper result.
Dot matrix printers came equipped with a group of pins that touched a ribbon which then connected with paper to produce the finished product. Character printers, which worked on the same principle as electric typewriters, used a bar or ball whose surface was embossed with all the characters you now see on any keyboard. These characters made contact with the ribbon, which in turn made contact with the paper.
Today we use non-impact printers - those that do not make physical contact with the paper to create the papered reproduction. The most prevalent for home or small office use is the inkjet printer - an economical choice for all but the most serious graphic arts requirements.
An inkjet printer produces the images and type it delivers from computer to paper by means of miniscule drops of ink. So miniscule, in fact, that a human hair would seem big by comparison. Standard ink drops of an inkjet printer have a diameter range of 50-60 microns. Arranged very precisely, these ink drops come in various resolutions (the higher the resolution, the clearer and more life like the output.) while 800x600 dpi (dots per inch) is a typical SOHO (small office home office) resolution producing quite adequate print quality, an inkjet printer can offer resolutions as high as 1440x720 dpi. Adding color to the mix can produce images nearly as high in quality as a laser printer product.
There are five basic parts to an inkjet printer: the print head assembly, the paper feed assembly, circuitry control, power supply, and printer ports.
The print head assembly is the heart of the printer workings. It's what brings the ink to paper by means of a row of nozzles. The print head may be part of the inner workings of a printer cartridge, or they may be separate parts. Cartridges are responsible for delivering color and shading. Most inkjet printers made nowadays offer color printing. Some may require as many as three distinct cartridges, but generally at least two - one black, one color. The motor is part of the print head assembly as well. It's the part that enables the ink and cartridges to move across the paper and produce the hard copy. It also keeps the cartridge stable when not in use.
The paper feed assembly includes the paper tray, which holds the paper ready for a printing request, and the rollers, which deliver the paper to the ink when a printing job is requested.
The power supply is simple - it's what gets the electricity to your printer so that it can do its job. Printer circuitry controls take the message from your keyboard and mouse and deliver it to the printer so that the requested hard copy can be produced. Printer ports, also referred to as interface ports, much like a telephone jack, enable the peripheral (the printer) to talk to the computer. While in older models parallel ports were the norm, the newest printer models connect via USB ports, which require a special USB cord.

Playstations And Why They Are Popular
The biggest reason is the graphics. The Playstation has some of the best graphics on the market, capable of rending 360,000 polygons per second. This enabled it to render almost any image quickly and sharply, making it ideal for any game that you could play on it, whether it was taking jewels from a safe, sniping a villain, or slamming someone to the floor. The images were gorgeous, and are among the industry’s best.
The controls are a dream; very responsive, and easy to learn, the controls are some of the best designed in the gaming industry. Although the games themselves may have had some ridiculous problems, the Playstation’s controls themselves allowed any player to master the game to whatever level the player was capable of. Capable of handling up to four controllers with appropriate hardware, the Playstation could easily keep a group playing for days.
The Playstation was also the first console to integrate a DVD player into itself. This allowed the interesting situation of the owner being able to watch an anime, and then play a game based on that anime, all on the same piece of equipment; a great development on a console. Of course, it was a fully-functioning player, with all the features that you would expect from a DVD player; you could find an Easter egg on the player just as easily as you could on the games.
And the variety of the games is definitely not second-rate. With the Game Cube being for kids, and the XBox for showing off, the Playstation seemed to be a personal industry favorite. You could find games for any genre, any rating. You could find the standard fighting games, platform jumpers, and side-scrollers, as well as some truly weird games (such as Cubivore, a game of evolution modeled on actual theories). There were some dating games available, as well as games that were compilations of other games from years past. Not only did it have the best games of today, but best games of yesteryear. The Playstation literally had a game for anyone, with a strong line of educational games and more illicit games for other ages.
The system had few weaknesses. The DVD player wouldn’t last, having to be repaired after a relatively short time. Also, there were only spaces for two controllers. At least the memory cards could hold more game records than other games.
In short, the Playstation is easily one of the best consoles ever designed. The console can keep a group of guys spellbound for hours, and then a little girl could take over the system with her own games. There’s a lot to be said about a console that can allow even the youngest child a wide range of entertainment options, including education games and Disney DVDs. A good console for a good time.

Bratz Rock Angelz - The Video Game
MGA Entertainment, the creator of the Bratz toy line, has recently given the nod to the Bratz Rock Angelz video game, which was a rather obvious next step to take when you consider the Bratz exploding popularity. It's no surprise that countless children have decided to play as the teenage divas right from the comforts of their own home; there aren't very many games targeted for younger girls, much less one with subject matter with such widespread appeal.
The inevitable release of a Bratz Rock Angelz video game was expected by many Bratz fans worldwide (the Bratz dolls are equally or more popular than Barbie dolls in many countries around the world) since competitors like Barbie have experienced the transition to video games for quite some time. What some parents don't realize is the Bratz Rock Angelz video game is based upon a DVD movie of the same name, so children can enjoy two forms of media that work in conjunction with each other.
The story begins when Jade (of course, one of the Bratz girls), gets fired from her internship at a certain magazine (if you are a Bratz fan, you probably know that I am talking about the "Your Thing" fashion magazine). As a result of this unhappy incident, the Bratz Rock Angelz decide to start their own music and fashion magazine. It is up to you to help the girls achieve their goal. Better yet, you will have the chance to customize Jade's, Chloe's, Yasmin's and Sasha's hair, clothes and looks as you assist them in their fun quest.
The Bratz Rock Angelz videogame presents an isometric perspective view, just like the Sims saga of games, and has nicely designed graphics. Of course, a game about the Bratz Rock Angelz needs to be, at a minimum, as cool as the dolls, and I think the whole game has a hip vibe that will not disappoint any Bratz fan.
As the girls make their way towards their goal, they will have the possibility to complete a lot of small quests and mini-games, which allow you to customize the clothing, the shoes, the hair and a variety of other aspects of the Bratz Rock Angelz looks, including a lot of accessories. There are also some important items you will need to collect and several key locations you will need to visit in order to help the girls in the process of setting up their own magazine.
But the Bratz Rock Angelz are not alone! In fact, you will need to interact with several other characters from the Bratz dolls toy line, and of course you will be hanging out in some of the available Bratz sets (like the Bratz Shopping mall, for instance).
The Bratz Rock Angelz video game starts with the girls in the school, but soon they are traveling the entire world, looking for the perfect interview to a cool celebrity or finding the perfect news story.
The Bratz Rock Angelz video game is available on a PC-compatible CD-ROM, and it is priced about 20 dollars. The Nintendo Gamecube version costs about 40 dollars, about the same price of the Bratz Rock Angelz video game for the PlayStation 2 console. There is also a Game Boy Advance version, which costs about 30 dollars, and comes with a cool gift: the free "Chloe Game Boy Advance carry-case."

I recently got a 17 inch notebook, and am quite impressed with its quality.
It is so much better than the old IBM Thinkpad that I had years ago. Back then, laptop computers were big and bulky, the screen resolution was poor, they were even more expensive than now, and the batteries had very low life expectancy. But my new Dell 17 inch notebook is everything that my old laptop was not. It is sleek, low-profile, with hours of battery life, and a high-resolution lcd screen that is just simply a joy to look at.
I put off getting my new 17 inch notebook for quite a long time. I have always found the process of buying a new computer agonizing. No matter how long you wait, the very next week after you buy whatever system you have chosen to purchase, there is something cheaper and more powerful at a lower price and with a better warranty. It is enough to drive you completely batty. Nevertheless, I knew that the convenience of a new laptop computer was worth it, and eventually I broke down and bought my new 17 inch notebook. And I am sure glad that I did. There is nothing that beats a laptop computer.
The best thing about my 17 inch notebook is how easy it makes work on the go. With the prevalence of wifi coffee houses, I can work from my 17 inch notebook from all about town. I do a considerable amount of freelancing, so the luxury of being able to do all my work on the go, when I want, and from where I want, makes my life almost feel like a permanent vacation. And when I am done with my 17 inch notebook, I slip it into my laptop computer sleeve, and can carry it around me anywhere. It is no burden at all, because of its light weight, and though I occasionally worry about having it stolen, or accidentally damaged, so far no harm has come to my computer. My sturdy 17 inch notebook has really revolutionized my life. Of course, for many people, getting a new 17 inch notebook computer like I have done might be a bad idea. If you are not good at keeping track of your stuff, it is a definite no. You could easily lose your 17 inch notebook computer, along with all of your work and data, due to one careless mistake.

Blizzard and World of Warcraft Gold Sellers
Many World of Warcraft players today likes to buy WoW gold, items, accounts and power leveling sessions, but blizzard along with other players consider this an act of cheating. Well, you have the ability to enhance your character to a much higher level or better quality items, weapons, armors and other equipment with real money. It's unfair for those players who does not have the extra cash to spare or would prefer to play it the old fashion way. But for example, we all know what Nintendo is right? Well when game shark came out did Nintendo try to stop or prevent them from selling? No, they didn't. But of course, for those who chose to cheat the game was not required to play with others that didn't want to cheat. So that is one conclusion as to why players and Blizzard does not approve of selling or buying gold.
Disruption from Warcraft gold farmers. Yes I'm sure we've all experienced that farming now a days have been a little difficult due to the overwhelming population of WoW gold farmers. If gold wasn't able to be sold using real money the farmers wouldn't exist and players would probably be able to enjoy the game more. Perhaps blizzard should enforce a law to farming? Or allow players to tag a mob and allow them preparation time to kill the mob they were targeting? Well, Blizzard is not a government and even if so, the government today isn't perfect either.
Another reason why I can understand players hate the idea of buying/selling gold is because it disrupts the economy. If there is excess gold, then the value of gold drops and the value of the item will rise causing players to spend more gold on the item than what they would normally need to pay. Basic economics 101, inflation and deflation. A player can only farm an X amount of gold over a given period of time. The more gold there is, the more the item will cost, the more a player will have to farm unless they purchase the gold of course.
Well with all these problems involving selling gold, why hasn't Blizzard done something? I believe they probably are working on a solution but believe it not, farmers do make up about 30% of their population. Somewhere in the back of their mind I'm sure they don't want to get rid of all subscribers. What they do instead is ban a few at a time and they would be required to buy a new world of warcraft cd key. Extra cash flow for the mighty O Blizzard. Yes farmers and sellers do get their accounts banned. But have not heard of any buyers getting banned however. Lucky for us?
As some of you may know, another popular mmorpg publisher is Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) with their many leading titles including the first MMORPG hit EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies, and EverQuest 2. Why am I bringing up SOE? Because they have introduced the Sony Exchange. The Sony Exchange is a secure market place for players to auction their currencies and items to other players for real cash. In return SOE of course takes in a small fee for themselves. Charming isn't it? Well along with this new innovative idea, they also of plans of releasing a new game where they will be selling currencies and items themselves. That pretty much just beats the second paragraph of not cheating. But of course I'm sure they will create specific servers where the purchasing/selling of virtual assets will not be allowed.
If SOE is getting into the secondary market why can't the players? I do wonder if Blizzard should decide to get into the secondary market themselves. Believe it or not, but World of Warcraft subscriber base more than quadruples what SOE has in total. As you can see SOE is accepting the new trend and making a huge load of profit, I'm sure Blizzard would follow up on the idea as well. EverQuest was the first mmorpg hit ever, Blizzard known for their real time strategy games now has the most popular mmorpg as well. I wouldn't see why they won't follow and collect some of the cash themselves. Overall, although we do not know of Blizzards intentions for those who buys WoW gold, I can say for sure that I do not know a single person who has gotten their accounts banned for buying WoW gold. Please understand that this article is only a matter of opinion and I hold no responsiblity to your actions. If you are interested in purchasing wow gold, visit http://www.buyingwowgold.com.

High Definition Tuners
High definition TV tuners or HDTV tuners are designed to receive high definition programs by connecting to an external antenna. HDTV tuners will not only show movies and DVD’s at high definition, but will improve the viewing of normal TV. It is because of the improved definition or color and picture quality of DVD’s and programs that make HDTV tuners very popular with viewers.
Television sets often come with HDTV tuners already built into them, these are called integrated HDTV’s. If you are considering buying an external high definition TV tuner for your television, make sure that your TV set is HDTV compatible. A separate tuner may also be needed. This can be either a cable or satellite box for watching high definition programs.
Most people have heard that there is a mandate on televisions to make integrated HDTVs. This is not entirely correct. Certain televisions that are for sale after a certain date will be required to have built in tuners. The tuners required won’t be HDTV. The mandate is actually referring to ATSC tuners. It is not even necessary that TV’s be able to display HDTV resolutions without either an internal or external tuner. This new mandate will not apply to plasma and front projectors. The mandate will not take effect for some time. Until then there will be no change in television manufacture or tuners.
It is important to ask about features of high definition TV tuners before making a choice. If you are not sure what some of the features are, ask for clarification. Make sure that your television is compatible, HDTV tuners may not work with older televisions. Ask your cable or satellite company weather they support high definition TV, as many people find out later down the road that they cannot receive HDTV programs through cable or satellite.
Ask about what kind of warranties are available and what parts they actually cover before buying. External high definition TV tuners are quite reasonably priced. Prices start at around $150. If you are on a budget, make sure not to buy cheaply made appliances. Always wait for specials or price reductions on reliable brands.
One of the most popular brands available is the Samsung SIR-T451. This one is ideal for high definition programming on any high definition TV compatible television. There are many more HDTV tuners available on the market. By doing a quick search on your favorite search engine, you will be able to find a HDTV tuner that will fit both your budget and your TV’s requirements.

Blackjack for beginners
Blackjack is the most played casino card game in the world today. Blackjack is one of the very few ‘beatable’ casino games, meaning that if you know the rules and have a basic understanding of strategy than you can come out in the black, so to speak, over the house.
The edge over the house can only be achieved if a player knows the rules and the strategy of the game.
The rules are simple; the main purpose is to have a hand closer to 21 than the dealer, without going over. The strategy involves knowing the odds. Knowing whether to hit – get more cards – or stand – stay with your current hand – at 17 is where strategy starts to come in.
There are amazing tools online today for a beginning player to learn the game. HitorStand.net (http://www.hitorstand.net/) offers an interactive blackjack tutorial that teaches the game as you play. This is a must for the novices.
You can the upgrade to sites like Online-Casino.com (http://www.online-casino.com) that have free blackjack games versions. Try finding a site like this that has a no-download, completely free game version that you don’t have to register for.
After you feel completely comfortable with the game and you decide whether you would want to play online for real money.
Playing for practice, or free money, online is a great advantage for blackjack beginners today. Blackjack is one of those games where the rules are easy to learn but the strategy takes time to master. It is possible, though. Today, with the free versions online, all a person needs is perseverance and an Internet connection.
The basic objective in the game of blackjack is to get the highest hand value to 21 points without going over. When learning the rules, the main factor a player needs to learn is how much each card is worth. Afterward, with the strategy, a player will need to remember the odds and statistics of the cards.
The great thing about a blackjack strategy is that the more tips you learn, the better your game will get. Knowing a few tips can dramatically increase your game.
The best advice for beginners is to find a site with a free version and start playing. The strategy will come with time. Once you know that you should never play with a casino that uses more than 6 decks at a time and to never, ever, take insurance, you’re well on your way to becoming a blackjack pro.

How to ‘Download’ Your Old Computer to the Highest Bidder
When you think trash, you surely don’t think about your old, trusty personal computer. But that’s exactly what will become of it when you make the inevitable move toward your next laptop or desktop. And, yes, buying a new computer is inevitable, considering the pace at which computer technology zips along. Just think—about a handful of years ago, a fast microprocessor for a laptop was at 233 MHz. Now you’re looking at about at least 2 GHz! That’s Giga, with a G.
So eventually, you will want a computer that can handle the latest software, the latest games, and the latest interactive Web sites, and then you’ll have to throw away your old computer, right? Wrong. Try selling your used computer instead. Throwing out your computer is one of the worst things you can do. For one, your computer may be useful for someone out there, even if just for scraps.
Trashed computers and other digital equipment also make up one of the fastest growing, and most dangerous, new trash “categories” out there in your neighborhood landfall. On one hand, computers are generally bulky and made of plastic and other materials that won’t be breaking down in a landfill for the next few million years. What’s more, other materials in your old computer are highly toxic to the environment, like mercury, lead and cadmium. They’re so toxic that their actually name in the waste-management field is “toxics.”
You don’t have to be a techie or a scientist to understand the danger in that—nor the benefits of selling your computer. On the Internet, there are a vast number of auction and classifieds sites, some better than others, where you can “download” you computer to a worthy buyer.
Before you boot up your replacement laptop or high-performance PC, however, be sure you read and compute the following tips. These tips will help you avoid the crashes and shutdowns that befall the computer seller who doesn’t do his homework first.
Hold onto all of the operating system and software manuals that came with your old computer. This will add value to your sale, not to mention it will make you a trusted seller for offering up these helpful books to the buyer.
Erase all personal information from the hard drive. And we’re not just talking about simply putting stuff in the “trash bin.” It’s extremely important to purge all data from your computer’s memory repository, even from invisible backup files on the hard drive. If you’re not sure how to do this, ask your IT expert at work or a techie friend for advice. You don’t want the next user to have access to your bank accounts, old e-mails, and other private info, do you?
Uninstall any application from the hard drive that you’d like to use on your next computer, keeping the installation disk and the software serial number for yourself. When it comes to software, the manufacturers made sure that you never really own software, you license it. So you don’t get free reign to keep software on multiple computers. You only get one license, so you need to bring your licensed version with you to your new computer.
Do your homework on your computer’s worth. Just like you would for a car, check around at other classifieds and auction sites to see what other people are selling your make and model for.
Be sure you want to truly get rid of old faithful. You may be able to repair your old laptop rather than buy a new $2,000 Centrino model. Or you may be able to add RAM memory and a new hard drive to your four-year-old desktop rather than invest in a new $3,000 multimedia masterpiece. In other words, do a thorough cost-analysis of what it would take to rebuild your old computer, versus what it would cost to sell it and buy a new one. And check your heart too. You might be surprised just how attached you are to your old faithful.
Once you go through these steps, you are prepared to make your move and sell, sell, sell. And then, of course, you’ll be ready to start on a whole new list of steps—for buying a new computer. But that’s a topic for another article!

Flash USB Drives: Backup Easily, Conveniently And Securely
Tired of switching CD/DVD discs while backing up? Flash USB drives to the rescue!
If you already backup often, you are doing the most you can to secure your files against accidental file deletion and recovery, file damage and what not. Also, you may be considering making your backups as easy and painless as possible. So what may be a remedy to this issue?
Naturally, you need to consider several backup media and select the one suitting your needs and requirements. Among all, CD, DVD and flash USB drives are considered.
You may as well use CD to backup, but you will either need to dump CD-R discs often, or insert a CD-/+RW discs often to make another backup. Someone else can also misplace your backup CD disc or overwrite your backup data with other information. Moreover, a CD only admits about 700Mb of data, which may not be convenient. Nor is storing multiple CDs of your backup copy.
The same can be said about backing up to DVD. Of course, a DVD admits from 4.7Gb to about 18.6Gb of data, but is it really convenient backing up to DVD? An external hard disk drive or a flash USB drive will be speedier, more reliable and easier overall.
Here is when a flash USB drive comes handy. It not only allows faster data copying than CD or DVD, but can also admit from 256Mb to 4Gb of data (or maybe more). Moreover, you can take the USB drive with you anywhere you go and transfer the data between distant computers without resolving to FTP backup. Of course, one of the drawbacks of a flash USB backup is that the drive is only limited to about 100 000 writings, while another slight disadvantage (or an advantage, if you put it nicely) is that the device is so small you can easily misplace it.

Bingo
There are many indoor games we enjoy playing during a get-together, or any other occasions. Bingo is one such game that is fun to play. Numbered balls are drawn at random and players cover the corresponding numbers on their cards. It is a prize game, played mostly in halls or any other place. The bingo play cards are designed with numbers on them in a 5x5 grid matching to the five letters of the word BINGO. It is also called a game of chance, where players are awarded prizes for being the first to complete a specified arrangement of numbers on the bingo card, based on numbers selected at random.
Bingo is a derivative of lotto, a lottery game which was first started in 1530 in Italy. Later, in 1778, it grabbed the interest of people in France. The playing card used here was divided into three horizontal and nine vertical rows. Each horizontal row had five numbered and four blank squares. No two lotto cards were alike, and the chips were numbered from 1 to 90. The caller would call out a number while drawing a numbered token. The player who completed the horizontal was declared the winner.
In US this game is primarily staged in churches or charity organizations. In some states these games are conducted in bingo halls which are rented by sponsoring organizations. Commercial bingo games in the US are primarily offered by casinos. In the 1800s educational lotto games became popular. The German lotto was designed to teach tables to children.
This game was once considered the game of old ladies, but nowadays it attracting people of both sexes and all ages. In the early 20th century this game became popular in Australia. It was called Housie, and before conducting it in halls it was held in large canopies. The winner of the game was called House.
Now this game is so popular that whenever you have a gathering or a get-together, people would opt for Bingo as the best way to pass the time.

Fully Loaded Laptops
Buying a laptop is a commitment! Once you buy it, you can’t decide to change or upgrade any part of the system, as doing so is impractical in terms of cost and time. So plan before buying a laptop, and make sure it’s a fully loaded model that is up to date.
One of the important features of a laptop is its memory. While most laptops come with a 128 MB memory, it’s wise to invest in more memory such as a system memory (RAM) of 256 MB or even better, 512 MB, for the easier running of programs under Windows ME, Windows XP, and others. After all, the more memory the merrier!
Another main feature of a laptop is its port. A port is a slot through which external material such as microphones and cameras are connected. Laptops come with a serial port, infrared, parallel, and a Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports. Most external equipment correspond with different ports, which is why there are several types of ports in a laptop. However, it is best to opt for at least two USBs, as this is fast becoming the most popular of ports.
CD-ROM drives are not a standard feature of laptops, but it is best to have one installed, as most software comes in CDs these days. Even better would be to install a DVD-ROM drive, which can be used to read CD-ROMs too. A DVD-RW drive is capable of writing and rewriting CDs and DVDs. Also, when on a lengthy trip, having a DVD drive means you can check out your favourite DVD!
Laptops come with internal modems or external PC card-based modems for ready Internet access. The majority of new laptops even come with modules for wireless networking, like Apple’s laptops which are Wi-Fi compatible.
Input devices in a laptop range from the Touchpad to the Pointing Stick. A Touchpad is located beneath the spacebar on the laptop keyboard. It is touch sensitive; use your fingers on the Touchpad to move the cursor across the screen. The Pointing Stick is a rubber nub set in the laptop keyboard, and can be used to navigate the cursor by applying pressure with your index finger, similar to using a joystick. You can also plug in a standard mouse should you feel the need to do so.
There are a staggering number of laptop brands in the market today, so choosing that perfect laptop suited to your needs is no problem at all!
The Toshiba Portege R100 is a laptop specially designed for the mobile professional. With a striking appearance, bright screen, and integrated webcam, the Sony TR3A Vaio Ultraportable Laptop is the perfect travel partner. The Sony Vaio X505 is super thin, and uses carbon-fiber for its chassis, making it shock-free and robust. The Panasonic Toughbook Y2 Ultraportable incorporates a number of computer features in a portable and durable design, and pays special attention to battery life. For an excellent Multimedia feature set and attractive design, the Dell Inspiron 700M Notebook fits the bill.
